Escape Leicester — Attraction in Great Britain

First of all, i’d like to say staff were amazing and my review does not reflect them at all. Naomi and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and gave us more time, even when we were slightly late in starting.

My group has played escape rooms previously with Escape Leicester and were excited to try the “Echoes of Madness”. However, we all left the game with the same opinion that this escape room was one of the worst we’ve done.

Firstly it was advertised as a mental institution when the reality was lackluster and did not reflect the description. Secondly, the biggest issue we had was that the game was broken and not working as intended. There were points in the game where items should have lit up revealing the answers, or the placement of objects should have triggered something. However, this did not happen and left us having to use the walkie talkie to try and figure out the issue, with staff entering the room to fix the problem. Staff were amazing and did give us extra time, however it left us throughout the entirety of the game wondering “is this right or is the game broken” which ruined the experience. I understand this is one of the newer games, however these should be tested prior to getting customers to pay for a working experience when that is not what we received. Had we known the room still needed further testing we would have opted for a different room.

The overall storyline didn’t make sense and we still don’t know what the outcome of completing the escape room was in regards to the story we were briefed with. My team of three recently tackled the Echoes of Madness escape room at Escape Leicester, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! Rated 5/5 for difficulty, this room delivered a dark, spine-chilling atmosphere packed with suspense and immersion. The puzzles were brilliantly crafted, seamlessly weaving into the gripping storyline. From intricate jigsaw-style challenges to mind-bending cryptic ciphers, every element was thoughtfully designed and perfectly aligned with the theme.Our game master, Klaudia, was exceptional. She explained everything clearly, provided top-notch service, and was happy to answer our questions before and after the escape. Her enthusiasm and professionalism elevated the experience, and we’d love to have her as our game master again! Every staff member we encountered was equally welcoming, passionate, and dedicated to making our visit unforgettable.Escape Leicester’s two locations offer a variety of rooms, and with a new one on the way, they’re clearly committed to keeping things fresh and exciting. The facility is well-equipped, with a fridge of soft drinks, complimentary water, and secure lockers for valuables. A Fantastic Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Escape Leicester, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic. They took the time to explain the rules clearly and even gave us a bit of backstory to get us immersed in the game.

The escape room itself was well-designed, with clever puzzles that were both challenging and fun. The attention to detail in the room’s theme and decor made it feel like we were truly stepping into another world. Each puzzle flowed logically into the next, creating an engaging and rewarding experience.

What really set this experience apart was the staff. They were attentive, providing just the right amount of hints when we needed them—without giving too much away. Their passion for the game was evident, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
