John Logie Motor Boats — Attraction in Great Britain

I visited Windsor on Thursday 18 July 2019 as it was my boyfriends birthday. We had a lovely session at the escape room and had 45 minutes before we were to drive back to London. I asked what our options were for booking a boat for 30 minutes. I was told we could have a motor boat. I asked if I could pay on card and I was told yes I could but I would have to leave my driving licence which was fine by me. Throughout the conversation the gentleman working there seemed uninterested and rude. I wanted to pay for it myself while my boyfriend was parking the car as it was part of his birthday treat however when I explained this to the man working there he simply replied 'well let him pay for it then' in a very rude manner. My boyfriend is old fashioned and never let's me pay for any of our dates and for once I wanted to treat him. He then send he wouldn't take my payment until my boyfriend was there and that I should come back with him which of course defeated the purpose. His whole attitude and demeanor was off putting and plain rude. All in all he ruined what was a lovely day in Windsor and I will not be returning to him. I would recommend the lovely boat company which is 2 minutes walk from this awful place as they were very welcoming. I didn't even mention any of this to my boyfriend as I didn't want to ruin his birthday. I can understand why he had so many empty boats now. What a miserable man!...

A beautiful and amazing thing to do when visiting Windsor. First off I would like to congratulate this family run business for the excellent service they provide. All staff members are so friendly, accommodating and all their boats are in fabulous clean condition. Praise where praise is deserved. If you want to feel like a Royal for the day or just want to escape the everyday busy routines then this is a must do- I cannot recommend this service enough.

My fiancé and I attended on the 5th-Oct-19 along with our fabulous photographer to shoot for an engagement shoot. (Amazing spot for photos) After getting engaged near the castle and spending many weekend here we both just love all that Windsor has to offer. The boat trip is just the icing on the cake. The boat was very easy to operate and yet again absolutely spotless. Being surrounded by the very friendly swans was incredible also. We will 100% be doing this again and again. What An experience. Me and my daughter was on a day trip at Windsor walking around checking out all the scenery on a beautiful day and from the bridge spotted these nice little motor boats for hire. Walked down the riverside and join a que of about 40-60 people. Que went down quite quickly 20 mins and was greeted by John and his crew paid for half an hour jumped in the boat and got given are instructions and of we sailed. What a lovely experience cruising down the river soaking in the scenary, beautiful surrounding and views of the castle. Half hour was plenty up and down the river.
