Read moreI used a Transpennine train from York to Scarborough station recently as I had to get to Whitby and Scarborough station is the nearest station to Whitby, You collect a bus which runs every hour just outside of station to Whitby. Scarborough station is at the end of the line. There was building work going on when I visited, but it was ok. Toliets were on site, and the ticket office was just in the main entrance.
