St Mary’s Abbey is a stunning hidden gem in the heart of York. Even though it’s a ruin, the remaining arches and stonework are incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. You can really feel the history as you walk among the crumbling walls, with York Museum Gardens surrounding it in full bloom.

It’s a peaceful spot to relax and take in the scenery, just a short walk from the hustle of the city centre. Perfect for photos, a quiet moment, or a scenic stroll. The combination of the historic ruins and the vibrant gardens makes it feel really special.

Wander through the gardens on a summer's day and it will enrapture...

I Really Don't Understand How This Place Isn't Used For Private Ghost Events 👻🔥💯.. The Ghost Culture Here Is Amazing With Ghost Walks And Many Different Gift shops..
