Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service
I recently visited Reem Lounge with my friends, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. While we were seated promptly and handed menus, things quickly went downhill. We were informed that food orders had been stopped due to the kitchen being busy, which was disappointing but understandable. My friends ordered two shishas, which arrived quickly, while I ordered a pot of Moroccan tea.
We waited for 15 minutes for the tea, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t even what I had ordered. The tea tasted awful, and when I asked the staff if it was Moroccan tea, they informed me it was actually Arabic tea. After some back-and-forth, the staff member initially agreed to change it. However, another staff member spoke to him in Arabic, seemingly instructing him not to bother. The first staff member then returned and told me they didn’t have mint for Moroccan tea, and that I would have to accept what was served.

Read moreFriday night out with my husband, thought to try some different t good. I have ordered the seabass whole, my husband had kind meat ball thing. When they brought the food on the table, it was the seabass , but they didn’t mention anything, I called the lady and told her that’s no seabass, she said will ask, which she never did, just ignore us.Thought just lump it, not to bother, but after started I found the fish wasn’t fresh ,so I called the other lady and told her the food wasn’t seabass, same thing she said would ask the chief, later on , she returned and said would talk to me after I finished the food. We don’t like to wasted the food so I did my best to eat the best I can. Then she came and said “Sorry we don’t have seabass but the chief didn’t inform us, and we didn’t know”, when we asked what that fish is, they could not even tell ! she just tried to push things to the chief which no need face it, and that’s all. We don’t ask for money back, as we are happy to pay whatever we have ordered , just feel like been fool and deceived, it’s dishonest to provide the food which completely different without informing customer, just brush aside the responsibility! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable on every level. We came here hoping to relax, but instead we were treated with complete disrespect.
We asked for a tub of water, and they brought us a basic serving of water — no explanation, no menu, no mention of a charge. But when the bill came, they had the nerve to charge us £3 for plain water — water that should’ve been complimentary, or at the very least clearly priced. When we questioned the charge, the staff argued with us. Not just defensively — they were rude, confrontational, and made us feel like we were the problem for simply asking a question.
It’s outrageous to treat customers like this. Hospitality should be about respect and transparency — this place has neither. They nickel-and-dime you for the most basic things and then argue instead of explaining. The way they handle feedback or concerns is completely unprofessional and honestly disgusting.
If you’re considering coming here — don’t waste your time or money. There are far better lounges with clean service, respectful staff, and no hidden surprises on the bill. This place needs a serious...
