The LEGO Store - Turbine Hall — Local services in London

I’ve enjoyed coming to this branch before but this Saturday 5th April was one of the worst states I’ve seen any Lego store in. There was a display model of the new Shire/Bagend UCS model out but it was unsupervised with no ‘do not touch’ sign, I was shocked and annoyed to see people coming up to it and grabbing it, turning it around and handling it making a mess with it, it was literally only still together because it was a glued model, all the figures were missing (stolen), and parts of it including entire side builds had been taken by some people and dumped in the BAM and free play area. The BAM tower buckets were full of bricks from the pick-a-brick-wall, like entire handfuls of bricks had been poured into the buckets. None of the staff were taking any notice of this or making any efforts to tidy any of the mess described above, none of them seemed to care at all about the condition of the store at all. I was visiting the power station today and took a visit into lego. I was greeted by this lovely young enthusiastic man, although i did not get his name he was of south asian descent and dressed in lego uniform and a green sort of hat. He greeted us with a warm welcome, although it would have been nice for the other colleagues in the store to have matched the same enthusiasm as the young man by the door such as the cashier, the young man showed great politness and kindness in greeting other customers as they entered and certainly put a smile on their face. This certainly made my store visit alot better. I recently visited the LEGO Store in London and had an amazing experience, even though it was quite crowded. The store was bustling with visitors, but the staff managed everything brilliantly. They kept the lines organized and ensured that everyone had space to explore the displays.

The team was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Despite the crowd, they made sure we had a smooth shopping experience, answering questions, offering recommendations, and keeping everything running efficiently. The store itself is incredible, with impressive LEGO builds and a huge range of products.
