Terrible service. I needed to pop into the shops while walking my dog, I knew Battersea power station was dog friendly so had made my way to go to M&S there and nip in quickly. I normally go to the store with my partner who holds the dog outside but as he is at work I was unable to do this. I looked around for anything to tie my dog onto, a pole, post, rail, anything! But found nothing!! I did see a dog tied up inside at the front door and out of the way, so I waited and asked if I may tie my dog there while I quickly ran inside to grab something (would be less than 5mins). I was told that my dog would have to be left outside at my own risk. I asked for clarification as I again looked around for something to tie my dog to and again was told I would have to tie her up and leave her at my own risk. I would have been happy to do this if it was an option! I asked why my dog could not be left in the same spot as the other dog and to which the reply was that the other dog was a service dog (the dog was not!) and then asked if my dog was a service dog. I don’t not want to lie as she is not a service dog but a well behaved very small dog, smaller than the dog tied up inside. I ended up leaving as it was ridiculous, especially because there was a dog who was not a service dog (I clarified with the owner afterwards) tied up to the only pole available, Battersea power station is dog friendly in most places so the lack of places to tie ups dog is an issue, and for the fact that this is London and dog theft is a issue and also a city where I was asked to just leave my dog outside not tied up at my own risk which would be irresponsible of me the owner and unsafe for my dog. Please do better and provide a space for my dog to stay...
Read moreDear M&S Team,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent change to "The Hot Italian" pizza. This was the sole reason I was visiting this store, and I was disappointed to discover that the "Nduja with Calabrian hot chilli pepper" has been removed from the recipe while still being charged at the same price, and advertised on the label.
I believe this is a significant change to the product, and I am not satisfied with the current offering. Therefore, I will need to rate my experience with M&S down to one star. However, I would like to highlight the exceptional friendliness of your staff, particularly Carla, who always baked the pizza with "love."
I understand that you are a grocery store and not a pizzeria, but the "The Hot Italian" was a unique selling point for M&S, and the recent change has disappointed many customers. I hope that you can take this feedback into account and consider offering a new recipe that will appeal to your...
Read moreI work in Battersea power station, this is not the first time I have been approached on the self check out. Today older white lady, thought it was a good idea to be really close to me and seeing what I’m checking out. The store is quite busy and check out area. Why is it out all of the 10 customers I’m the one she should be checking. Which has made my experience very uncomfortable.
She came over to balance out the till as a couple products wasn’t scanning in properly. But to continue and hoover around me is insane.
Not being aware of her position.
There others to also check. There are people with prams that come can be also seen as possible theft.
But because of my outfit which is my uniform seems to fit in her ideal of suspicious. Quite frankly pissed me off.
I asked what is the issue? She said here to help in a very rude tone, whilst looking at me...
