Not too noisy to really enjoy much peace here and during lunch break? No chance! At the moment there is huge amounts of construction noise which is horrible. The place its self is an old grave yard and space for nurses, you can see this but the name on the buildings and the fact the place is lined with old gravestones. I’m sure the people paying millions for the flats here don’t realise they are so close to dead bodies.

In the past, this was used as a burial ground connected to St John's Church, but it was later redeveloped and transformed into a green space, creating the garden as it appears today. The area is adorned with lawns, benches, and a variety of flowers and trees, making it an ideal spot for a walk or quiet reading.

St John's Gardens, situated in the City of Westminster, is a peaceful refuge for a quiet reflection in your busy day, walking your dog, or just admiring the beautiful trees, flowers and gardens. If you live locally, please use the recycle containers as the proceeds support the gardens' upkeep. 🙏💚🩷💐

It used to be an old graveyard and now it's a small leafy garden. There are plenty of benches to sit around and have a bite to eat. There are quite a few bins and there are big recycling bins outside this park where you can get rid of small electric appliances, clothes, paper and glass etc. There are quite a few large trees in this park. Some of them are unique and rare. The old grave stones are placed on the side walls but unfortunately they are mostly faded and you can hardly read any of them. The fountain in the middle of the park is lovely. I wish they would place some drinking water fountains at...

Burial ground for the illegitimate children of a variety of Kings and other royal family members of England. Many of the memorials to them in the 1990's have sadly been removed. A pleasant garden between Page Street and Horseferry Road and near to St John's Smith Square, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Palace, The Garden Museum and the Tate Britain Gallery. Popular with the locals and office workers and a stone's throw away from the Thames. Known by the locals as "the old...
