I have waited to write a review as wanted to try all aspects of the golf club before writing. I have joined vivary as a club member and have been made to feel extremely welcome (in their own way) I have so far….. played several rounds of golf both general play and in a competition, I have also experienced the fantastic food from cullens catering. (Highly recommended) The price to be a member is extremely competitive, hundreds cheaper than the next closest golf course. A Great bunch of people. If you are thinking about it… do it. 5*

I really don't like heights, but when your family suggest a 5 meter, followed by a 9 meter assault course in the air, and ending with a jump off the top, you can't say no. The course is really well laid out, it's compact, but challenging. You are hooked into a pulley system the whole way, but trusting it is a whole different matter. The course had a wide variety of obstacles, which take you over people playing mini golf below. Great fun. We bought tickets in advance. Parking is onsite, but you pay by the hour.

I've played here about 10 times now since Covid-19. It's a short course - par 64, with fairways that cross each other. It's a tricky course because it's so narrow and the trees over hang on the fairway. The course is at best average, however the pay and play price reflects this. The greens and tees are very patchy on almost every hole and the pro shop is sparse. A good course for a beginner with all that said. Very very slow play each time I've played.

I can only rate the 18 hole golf course that I played on 3/3/2025. I had to pay £6.10 (5 hrs) to park my car in council run car park, on top of the £25 green fees. No breakfast or hot food available at the time of my visit, hot drinks machine and toilets available though in clubhouse. The course itself is quite short, but challenging, as very tight with plenty of trees to negotiate. If you are a straight hitter, you will do ok here. The greens are full of un- repaired pitch marks, but this is typical of a pay and play course. I got stuck behind a slow 4 ball, who were behind a slow 3 ball. Apparently, slow play is a common thing here. I became frustrated a little and didn't complete the round. I won't be back, but at least I...

Took a group of 40 6 to 12 year olds here for a morning jaunt on the climbing wall & high ropes. It was a very slick process getting the kids checked in, fitted with safety gear and onto the course. Instructors were absolutely fantastic, full of energy, enthusiasm and encouragement. Instructions and safety points were delivered clearly and in an engaging way too. They were excellent with those who were confident and wanted to push on and also those who had to work hard to overcome fears to try even a short section of the course - all done very sensitivity too. Thank you Vivary, hope to...

8 and 6 year old did the low ropes: 8 year old loved it and 6 year old found it tough, cried a bit, but managed to make it round the circuit once (you can do it two times). The stride you need to take to get to the start of each section is quite big, meaning for a few of the rope sections he had to have extra help or take a big leap.

The climbing wall at the start of the experience is great.

The cafe was ok, but the only hot food is panninis and pizza slices, and there wasn't anything vaguely healthy to buy.

We also did the mini golf: it was fun, but a bit...
