I can only rate the 18 hole golf course that I played on 3/3/2025. I had to pay £6.10 (5 hrs) to park my car in council run car park, on top of the £25 green fees. No breakfast or hot food available at the time of my visit, hot drinks machine and toilets available though in clubhouse. The course itself is quite short, but challenging, as very tight with plenty of trees to negotiate. If you are a straight hitter, you will do ok here. The greens are full of un- repaired pitch marks, but this is typical of a pay and play course. I got stuck behind a slow 4 ball, who were behind a slow 3 ball. It was a very slick process getting the kids checked in, fitted with safety gear and onto the course. Instructors were absolutely fantastic, full of energy, enthusiasm and encouragement. Instructions and safety points were delivered clearly and in an engaging way too. They were excellent with those who were confident and wanted to push on and also those who had to work hard to overcome fears to try even a short section of the course - all done very sensitivity too. Thank you Vivary, hope to...
Read more8 and 6 year old did the low ropes: 8 year old loved it and 6 year old found it tough, cried a bit, but managed to make it round the circuit once (you can do it two times). The stride you need to take to get to the start of each section is quite big, meaning for a few of the rope sections he had to have extra help or take a big leap.
The climbing wall at the start of the experience is great.
The cafe was ok, but the only hot food is panninis and pizza slices, and there wasn't anything vaguely healthy to buy.
We also did the mini golf: it was fun, but a bit...
