Fro Yo Cafe — Attraction in Aberdeen Township

I miss the days when frozen yogurt was a big deal back when I was in high school, ew I sound old….any way…. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Buuuut, my biggest gripe is that each of the flavors have this huge opening which means a lot of the frozen yogurt comes out. Realistically you can get 2 flavors in max. But my wife and I tried not to go too crazy and we had to throw some out because it was too much. If the nozzles were smaller on the machines I feel I’d be able to portion out a bit better. Granted I believe the whole point of their business is for you to fill the cup. They go by weight so it kinda sucks that they favor the money grab over waste. It’s probably why so many of these places went out of business. They should have a bit more variety in cup size and smaller nozzles. This establishment has far exceeded my expectations. In the time that I have lived in this town, I have always been aware of this shop, but never tried it. One of my friends had recommended that I get some frozen yogurt, and I have in fact never had this substance. I entered the shop and was flabbergasted by my surroundings. The place was well conditioned, and had no blemishes in sight. I was advised that I am able to grab my own cup and that the end total would be measured by weight. I was also told that I would be able to mix and match any flavors that I wanted, but I stuck with a classic: Peanut butter and chocolate. I was also able to utilize the toppings bar, in which you make use of long scoops to pick your favorite toppings from a large assortment. My family and I are obsessed with this place! All of the young workers are so kind and courteous. They are constantly cleaning up the yogurt machines and the topping stations and it looks super nice. There's a wide variety of toppings and they're not basic either! My favorite is the sauce/ wet topping station. It's got everything from hot fudge to marshmallow drizzle and reese's peanut butter sauce! I honestly can say I enjoy coming here more than getting an ice cream from an ice cream place.
