Stayed there for about 6 days . Checked in with my partner. She needed to stay at a spot that is quiet and has plenty of room and a nice office desk. To work on filling a federal case against a crappy small town police department. Ant ways. Had the room with the big living room and full kitchen comes with a separate bedroom that can be closed of from the main living room . The place was clean and modern the furniture was what is expected. The desk was later and modern with plenty of ambient lights and connections for a laptop and HDMI hook up to the main TV on the stand few feet from the desk . Wich is great if u want to connect the laptop to a bigger screen . The kitchen came with ok appliances all black nothing special or modern ..but it's clean and well stocked with plates and cooking supplies pots pans etc .. the fridge is surprisingly large sized. And came clean as if new. But can use an upgrade for the lack of a ice maker weather build in or stand alone. .was ur average black 8 to 19 years old fridge. And microwave can use an upgrade to some bigger .other than the smallest available anywhere I have seen in a hotel. The carpet was very clean and felt fine walking on it bare foot. No issues. The bedroom is little small compared to the over sized living room . But the bed and bed the bedding was 4.5 stars. Amazing . Fluffy soft plush and cool to the touch and spotless clean . And you bet ur behind it passed the black light . And yes I have one with me and yes I use any time I use any hotel or BNB service. As much horror videos I have seen that cause me to be paranoid every time . And the Crazy stuff that would and can be in the bedding or floor. Is traumatizing non the less. Which also bring another important thing. Is the small investment in a small pocket sevice for the detection of hidden recording devices and checking the room or BNB with the infrared and bug detection device. Is absolutely important and recommended . About 1 in 4 or 5 places is tampered with and bugged specially air bnb. And similar places mainly locally owned spots andess main chain and huge corporate hotels just cause the access and ability to bug it is much harder and the traffic is way higher . But all good passed and no issues. The barhróom is little smaller than expected and plain lacking any features or color or vibrance and that also was apparent through out the whole room and hotel. Plain nothing flashy just the basic but enough for what it's needed for and very very clean and no broken or worn out anything. .
The wifi worked perfectly and was available in every room with greet signal coverage on the whole floor and our side common areas all the way to the parking lot.
The staff was little stand offish at some days and some shifts were way more friends the other shifts and some staff was nicer and more helpful and welcoming them other. It's just was not all standered. There is some that definitely not into guest services or hospitality and just there for a check and to kill the hours to run and get away. . security was good no issues felt very safe. And either way I tend to believe IAM the boggy man and one other keep few feet distance from. Just cause the intemedating look I have . Nit intentionally. Spending 6 years in the Marine corps and deploying 3 times tend to make the person more don't give a fluck and confident in ability to not get easily intemedated add a brown belt in BJJ. And u get the pic. Have to say walking around at night unable to sleep had introduced me to some fun people and females / couples there that are looking for how do I put it extra activities and some would just flirt and try to hard to make it known that they are bored and looking to what ever. Maybe cause most rooms are long term stays like apartments and the vibe is people are not there for a night no they either been there 1 plays weeks min.. or visiting there and hanging out. It's safe yes but if u walk around and explore and have an out going vibe and willing to strike a convin u just might have the same fun u had...
Read moreI usually do not leave reviews but I feel that I must on this one. I can NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Lets start out with the basic issues. We were coming from out of time to work at a clients site. I attempted to checkin early 40 minutes early but was told that this was not possible. I explained that my team and I would not be back until 8-9pm tonight but they would not budge.
Later that night, we checked in around 8:15pm with a little surprise. The first issue arose when they asked how many vehicles that we had and informed us that we have to pay and additional $12 per car, per night to park in their parking lot. This was a little frustrating as I did not see this listed on their website while booking. Upon getting to our room, none of our keys would work so we had to drive back to the front of the building where the check in office resided and have them reprogram our keys. This time, the keys worked. Very frustrating after a long days drive and then work.
Once in the room, there was a very strong mildew smell. We decided to suck it up as none of us wanted to go back to the front to ask for another room. We unloaded all of our equipment and clothing in to our sleeping areas and got ready to wind down for the night. Guess when our room didn't have for us to use? Towels and wash clothes. We tried to call the front desk a few times from the phone in the living area but they stated that they could not hear us. We moved to the first bedroom and this phone didn't even work. Luckily, the phone in the master bedroom did work and got us through the receptionist. She informed us that they could not deliver towels to the room and one of us would need to come back to the front to pick them up. So we did. When the towels arrived, we began the show ritual to only find out that there was no soap. LOL.. at this point, we were not going back to the front no matter what. The best part of the room was that the AC worked.
6:30AM came around and we all met at the front to try their breakfast. We stood at the door for about 10 minutes before we realized that we had to manually open the auto sliding door. We started with the Waffle maker, which powered on but would not turn over as it was broken. The batter took about 5 minutes to come out of the machine as the batter appears to be thawing out. Moving on, the meat that was provided was sandwich ham, sliced thin which seemed very out of place. The eggs seemed to be fake and baked but tasted editable. They only had one bagel which the guy in front of us grabbed and the toast was still frozen. This caused an issue when putting it in the rolling toasted that was provided as the crusts burned but the center would stay cool and uncooked. Running the bread through for a second time would result in a nice black burn piece of toast. One of my guys ate the provided cereal that looked like Fruit loops but said that they were more "Loops" then "Fruit" as they tasted plain and stale. I do not even want to comment on the coffee.
While turning in our keys, I did attempt to make the gentleman aware of these issues but he was focused more on his laptop then the customer.
Overall, I will never be staying in this hotel again nor can I recommend it to anyone due to the issues listed above. I hate to leave a negative public review but I feel that Management should be made aware and this is the only way to get the...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had at any hotel but did not expect this from a hyatt brand.
When checking in to a 2 room 2 bath suite for 4 nights that I had pre paid for almost a month prior, David started to check me in but then turned it over to Candace but she was mad because she couldn't clock in and was working off the clock and was complaining to David while checking me in. So then Miya took over at the front desk and had a lot of attitude for no reason and was giving me trouble. I didn't understand why I needed to give another card when it was all paid for. David Lamb the GM was very respectful and courteous and was congratulating me on my son graduating, the reason I'm in town, and explained to me that they need my card for incidentals. I asked him what incidentals could they possibly have and he said parking is $12 a day. Which I didn't understand because it's a regular parking lot, not gated, not a deck, no security and it's not a downtown location where space is limited.
Anyways I accepted and gave my card and David left me in Miya's hands. Miya continued to check me in and gave the the room keys, wifi info and my parking decal. As i was walking away she called me a piece of shit under her breath and didn't think I heard it. But I heard it clear as day while walking out the first set of doors. I turned around immediately shocked at what I heard and asked her if she could please repeat what she said again. She was so embarrassed that she quickly said I'm going to cancel your room and call the police and that I need to leave the property immediately.
I was with my whole family wife and kids along with a 7 month baby. I drove all the way from Atlanta and was so tired with baby crying and the police came and felt very bad informing me that they have to listen to what she says because she is a representative of the hotel and at the time the only one there so she has the authority to do that. I was given the keys already. So basically i was evicted from the property.
When I called corporate, they said let me call and talk to David and Miya picked up the phone and said there is no David that works here. I have a picture of his card stating that he's the GM attached below. Even corporate said he's not listed for some reason. So not sure if the Greyish haired tall white gentleman I talked to is who he said he was or Miya was just lying.
Now I had to look for another place last moment, that's that large for 4 nights. We were all so tired from the long drive and baby crying it was so frustrating it took me 2 hours to finally find a place that works and wasn't sold out, since other hyatts were sold out for the room I needed. Thank God for Marriott! Never again will I trust...
