My power and water were restored to my home last week but nobody restored my gas. I just got into town very late tonight to check on our house and I have a bolt on our gas meter. I have a 3 year old trying to sleep but she keeps waking up telling me she is cold. I called your after hours line and he said it's the weekend and IF... IF someone will be out to take the bolt off, it won't be until after 8 in the am. NOT OK WITH ME MY CHILD IS COLD. I don't care if it's 50 outside or 80 outside.... My child is cold thanks to Albany Utility. Why was my gas not "unlocked" at the same time my power and water were tuned back on? You're all the same utility company so you have no excuse! Right? I have no gas right now at the fault of Albany utility but they won't come turn it on. Thank God for all the outside help we had a couple of months ago after the storms! "Albany Utility" without a doubt the most horrific company I have ever dealt with and has no community support at all. Rob you blind, don't show up or have the manpower when your customers need you but will send a bill for sneezing....
Read moreI would rate them an ice cold ZERO if at all possible. They are stealing from the community and I will be reporting this to the attorney general. Especially the BBB. I also will be getting in contact with a lawyer. This is unacceptable and unjust. There is no way I am supposed to be paying $180 every month for service when I am not home. I always turn my breaker box off and unplug everything. I do not cook nor do I have internet or cable services so, there shouldn’t be any power coming through my home. I am only here 2 hours MAX every two days. Late fees are $15 and they also charge you a service fee of $30 when the payment is made 2 days after the initial due date. Georgia Power needs to buy them out and service the full state of Georgia. This local companies and their contracts suck! I will definitely be going above and beyond with my finances to sue them and report them. If anyone in higher management would like to give me a call please do email me.

Read moreNot empathetic to customers needs at all. Completed payment payment online, first time in a year. Completed transaction when I immediately realized it was an old acct information listed. I immediately paid online using the correct bank info. I then called WG&L and explained what happened. I was told I needed to call the bank. The acct is not active anymore at the bank. This month I have a $30 processing fee from WG&L. I called and explained the whole scenario again and was told they can’t remove the fee because it wasn’t their fought, I made the mistake. Heck, I know it’s my mistake hence the reason I immediately called when it happened to rectify. This company even in a time of furloughs, loss jobs and a pandemic could not empathize due to a mistake. I hate that I even have to deal with Albany WG&L!!! Just...
