We decided as a small business to try their business checks because of the affordability and speed in which checks can be reordered. WORST mistake we could have ever made for our business. We are a small cafe with a lounge attached exclusively almost all of our transactions with vendors are through checks. We received the new checks from the printing company Staple uses, looked at them all the information looked right, so we started writing checks. Three weeks later we started getting notices from our vendors that the checks were being returned as "Account Not Located" or Invalid Account". We couldn't figure out what was going on went to our bank and realized that one of the numbers in our checking account was missing from the checks. Went to Staples in Albany, Or was helped by a very nice salesperson April, showed her the error, she tried in vain to help me with the printing company they use, at one time they company admitted they made the error, but said since I didn't catch the error, the resulting financial fiasco we are now facing is all our fault. We now have over a 1000$ in returned check fee's and late payment fee's. There was no I am sorry, or anything from the company they are using just basically tuff on you us...If there was a negative option I would give it to the company they use, I gave a two because as I was sitting there heartbroken and devastated, at least April was there to offer me sympathy. WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS OR ANYONE THEY CONTRACT WITH....The only "EASY" thing about this experience was writing this review....Glenda Michelle...
Read moreLori needs an attitude adjustment. I've NEVER had an issue here at Staples, in fact there is one gentleman who is BEYOND helpful everytime. Today was a different experience and I was having problems making copies of documents. Lori offered to help, which I thought was great until she asked how many pages of this document I needed. When I said all of them ( approx. 20 pages) her entire attitude changed and as other employees walked past her she would communicate QUITE loudly " I have to make copies of ALL of these!" Keep in mind, this was the second time I had to come back in as the first time the scanner didn't send me the scanned images I had paid for them the previous day and they never came through. This was explained to her. I have never had an experience like this at this Staples, and quite frankly if it weren't for the other helpful associates there, I would take my business elsewhere. It would do this business well to provide her with more customer assistance training to ensure other customers are not treated with her rude attitude...
Read moreI had the marketing and printing department work on a project for me today. Hannah, the store associate that helped me, did an amazing job! She was efficient. She made sure as she assembled the parts to the final deliverable there was an eye for quality and accuracy. I needed to doublecheck the accuracy of the page sequencing and layout, which caused an interruption to her being able to complete the project. She was totally chill and very professional. She even directed me to a space where I could focus on what I was doing. She communicated product options so the project would turn out the way I wanted. It was about $150 job. I’m so glad she was the one working on it for me. I felt confident from the beginning she would be the one to give it the care it deserved. If the store leadership sees this, I hope she can get a pat on the Back or some type of recognition for being a valued asset to the pleads team in Albany, Oregon. Seriously, she exemplifies what I’m sure the Staples brand is looking for in a Customer Service oriented...
