Casitas de Colores — Attraction in Albuquerque

Have lived here for months and I just don't understand how things can be so bad. For starters, we haven't had a manager for over a month. They've been rotating people in and out of the managers office and they can't keep any sort of consistent hours. Today was my last straw. I just bought a car and am waiting on my registration sticker in the mail. Despite this, they towed my car overnight without providing any sort of warning or notification. I had to call the police because I thought my car had been stolen. Despite everything clearing with the office and my car having a parking permit sticker and brand new license plates, they took my baby away. I am beyond upset with Casitas and Monarch Management. If you are thinking of moving here but have a vehicle, I would 110% think twice. Not to mention the homeless literally crapping on the walls right where we park. I hope...

I had called about renting one of their units here. They told me they were possibly waiting to see if another individual was going to lease it out. Took weeks before I finally had to call and follow up. (Literally weeks) when I asked to speak with the manager just because I wanted her to know no one has bothered to call me back and keep me updated. And also that they've been waiting weeks to rent out the unit to someone who failed their background check (supposedly) and they weren't sure if they could rent it out or not. Noisey!!! Doors slamming all the time, thin walls. You can hear your neighbors at all hours of the night and day and very loud! Management ignores complaints. Hot water didn't work for first 4 months of living here, and had to file 5 complaints before they finally fixed it! Bike stolen off property, management didn't even acknowledge this when I reported it to them. Pets who bite run off leash and are well over 20lbs, so your pets aren't safe. Managers completely ignore noise complaints and don't acknowledge resident complaints. They will show you one unit, and stick you in a crappy unit instead. Don't waste your beauty sleep...
