Flavorful Takeout and Friendly Service at Afghanistan Kebab House We stopped by Afghanistan Kebab House on a busy Saturday night, and the place was nearly at capacity—a good sign. I placed a to-go order, and despite the crowd, the young man at the counter was friendly, helpful, and even apologized for what turned out to be a very minimal wait. I ordered the potato bolani, both kinds of sambosa, the lamb kebab, and baklava to take back to our hotel and share with my wife. The food took about 15–20 minutes to prepare, which was completely reasonable and well worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were generous—more than enough for two people. The lamb was especially tender and flavorful, and the sambosas were a hit. Inside, the restaurant features both traditional tables and a cozy area where guests can sit on cushions on the floor for a more authentic experience. The crowd leaned younger and gave the place a lively, welcoming vibe. Whether dining in or taking out, this spot delivers delicious Afghan cuisine with kind service and solid portions. Highly recommended.

Afghan Kebab House had their soft opening today and I HAD to swing by for lunch so I could try Afghan food for the first time! I really enjoyed my Bolani and Beef Tikka Kebab. I could’ve eaten an entire plate of their rice! But honestly, what I loved the most was that the community SHOWED UP for this new business! The line was out the door the entire time I was there. They had a limited menu, the wait time to order was a little long, and they had a few glitches with online orders… but everyone was so understanding and respectful while the Afghan Kebab House team hustled as they worked through things. Seeing this support and respect truly warmed my heart! What I Tried: Bolani - Fltatbread stuffed with potato, green onions, clantro, and aromatic spices, served with chutney Beef Tikka Kebab - Juicy, tender beef pieces marinated in a rich blend of spices nad herbs, then skewered and grilled, served with chutney Salad - Mix of finely chopped tomatos, cucumbers, onions, and herbs Baklava

Everything was delicious and none of the desserts were overly sweet plus had a great cardamom flavor, or really strong on the pistachio. Bolani was crispy on the outside with a soft interior that made for a great appetizer and wasn't overly greasy while still having a good layer of oil (butter?) for cooking and moisture. The chutney was almost like table salsa at a Mexican restaurant, but still uniquely chutney and paired perfectly with all savory items. Beef kebab was tender and well seasoned. The lamb karahi is braised in some kind of spiced tomato-garlic gravy and was falling apart tender with a flavor that layered for more complexity and enjoyment as it's eaten. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, with consideration for what you may want or need with your meal.

This is literally one of the most delicious restaurants I have ever been to, hands down. Its beautiful and clean with a nice few tables outside (which we prefer for dining with kids). The service was super prompt and welcoming. But most importantly THE FOOD. I have had many lamb dishes from many countries around the world and the lamb achar karahi was literally the most melt-in-your-mouth, tender lamb I have ever had. Period. The eggplant dish was perfectly balanced with delicious notes of garlic, and not super oily like so many eggplant dishes can end up becoming. We tried both Bolani's and both were so yummy with the chutney, but the potato was definitely the crowd pleaser.

There isn't a kids menu but our child was still delighted--we got him a bolani for himself and it was a huge hit. Honestly any of their sides or appetizers would still be a big meal for your child--the portion sizes are so large and filling I would just go family style and share.

Cannot recommend enough and already...
