First time I stayed at this specific Motel 6, I stayed for 5days/4 nights while a couple of my family members stayed for just 1 night. The person working the front desk when we arrived was polite, courteous, and got us checked into our rooms quickly. He was very thoughtful, and made an effort to get us rooms as close to each other as possible. He then took the time to show us, on the motel's room map, where our rooms were located at, how to get to them from the office, and the quickest way to get to each other's rooms. Going yet ANOTHER step further, he called our rooms about 5 minutes after we left the office, not only to confirm that we found them easily, but also to ask if there was anything else we required during our stay. It is only BECAUSE of the great hospitality and customer service received from the Motel 6 staff, that we were able to enjoy any part of a rather difficult trip to Albuquerque. So now, on my current trip to Albuquerque, I chose to stay at the same motel. When I walked into the office to get my room, I was greeted by the same person who had worked the desk on my previous trip. Also, as before, I was treated with the same, wonderful customer service and concern . Needless to say, I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND staying at this Motel 6, whether you're spending a week or more in Albuquerque, or just need to get a good night's rest before continuing on your journey. The rooms are clean, in good condition, room numbers are clearly posted and easy to locate. The price per night is reasonable, and the staff understands what customer service is and how it SHOULD be given! The motel is located close to the I-25 and I-40 interchange and the on/off ramps for both. There's a Wal-Mart Supercenter, a Whole Foods Market, numerous fast food and dine-in eateries, all located within a mile, or closer, radius from the motel.

Right up front, please understand that this Albuquerque stay was part of a 13K mile trip, and along the way we have stayed at many Hotel 6’s across many states (we travel with our dog). We know what a typical Hotel 6 provides. I reserved 2 rooms a couple of months ago to take my parents to the Balloon Fiesta. My parents needed a first floor room, and because I had requested a room near their’s, this is the room we received. Again, a picture is worth a thousand words. There was an actively leaking water pipe just outside our room. The fallen ceiling tile and water was making a mess outside of our room, making it impossible to enter without tracking water and debris inside. Because I needed to be near my parent’s room, we put out a few towels and “sucked it up”. When my parents arrived late that evening their room was infested with cockroaches. When told, staff provided me with roach spray (they offered to go spray it themselves), but the room was simply not inhabitable, so my parents were moved to a different room. I believe that the staff compensated them for their experience. So, thanks to the staff for trying. However, Hotel 6 should have SOME minimum standard. If so, and if spraying water leaks and active roach infestations are below that standard, I am not willing to explore how low it might be, regardless of the pet policy.

I stayed here with a couple of friends for vacation, we were hoping to get a good nights rest after a long day of exploring the city, we booked into room 261 and shared beds, we suddenly started hearing very loud arguing from the room next door at around 8pm, we tried to fall asleep but the arguing didn’t seem to stop. We tried calling room service but they didn’t do much about it. We then tried to knock on room 262, which is where the arguing was coming from, and noticed a foul odor coming from the door, and what seemed like some sticky substance near the doorknob. When the neighbor opened the door it was an elderly lady who was coughing a lot, we tried to nicely ask for them to keep the noice down but a girl with curly hair rudely told us to go way and kept arguing. The apartment seemed very unkept and was extremely messy, there was what seemed like mold on the ceiling and walls and food scattered throughout the floor and furniture, it seemed very unkept and smelled of cigarettes, We decided to not escalate the situation and leave to our room. The arguing continued for the rest of the night, and didn’t stop. We don’t recommend this location, if you’d like to find a better location that is calm and sanitized and safe with good customer service, I recommend going to one of the other many hotels near by.

On the website, this hotel is so pleasant to see considering the paint and location. We were looking for a place to stay just for a night, something good and affordable and we found this motel on Google. Staff are not so accommodating and not so pleasant. I asked the lady waiting on the front desk if they have room for us and told her ground floor only because we have a baby, she said "YES" at the back of the building. I added if they they have free breakfast and she said "NO", internet? "NO", coffee? "YES" only in the morning. I asked her why he price is different from the internet she explained, it's different because we are walk-in and we pay not by room stay but per person who will stay. then she added "If you don't like the price, you may GO! and find somewhere else.!" I was shocked for that kind of reaction but then I said "I take it, my baby is so tired". We drove around their hotel to find our room. Some people were smoking in front of our door, then right after few minutes some other people began arriving on the neighboring room which I did not mind, men and women smoking and some others have tattoos. We found the room neat but smelly of something like strong spray of room freshener, too strong that my wife even cough, inside smells cigarette although it says smoking inside is not allowed. Bed sheets are tidy but I found a lot of cigarette burn on the sheets. Then my baby scream because of a fly she saw on the lamp, then flying, and buzzing around the room. We check the water, kinda strong in the bathtub but weak on the shower. no shampoo provided only some little soap on the side of the tub. The small sink where you toothbrush was extremely weak in water just like a dripping wee wee. The tub has some cigarette burn, and you could hear the splash of water on the other room because somebody was showering that time. As we rest, we hear those people smoking outside and the banging of the door where people are coming and going, seems like there is something nasty going on. The room has a little TV, cable, phone, and no refrigerator to secure the baby food and milk. I was tired but cannot sleep because of the loud people on the other room. I walked out to see what's going on outside, there a big tall guy, a new one standing and waiting outside their door and some other car parked in front of their room loaded with people. That morning, I checked if coffee is already available and yes, it was. Oh man! their coffee is tasteless, like a starbucks coffee divide by 10, I don't know if my tastebuds was the problem but my wife says "Ewww". I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, Sorry! better find somewhere else, don't be deceive by the outside. I should have checked their room first before...

This place is an actual 3/5 but im putting a 1 star because some huge plus sized lady ruined my experience. Her name is Tophia i believe, AND it smelled incredibly horrible and when i smelled tophia her stench was very bad she was lacking basic hygiene. I got a little sneak peak of her room and it smelled like dog poop with rotten moldy Mountain Dew. There were a bunch of roaches in her bed. She had a bunch of mountain dew cans scattered around the place and they looked like it hasn’t been garbaged for months. she had 2 other people living with her which im assuming is her mom and brother. Her mom coughs all the time and sometimes she coughs so loud i get scared. I went here for a marriage to texas (we were driving btw) and we were tired so we decided to stay at a motel and stopped here. I bought my asian and muscular friend with me because he wanted to come. When we got to the motel our room was just right next to tophias. Tophia had saw my asian friend and she kept flirting with him. My friend went into her room because she asked him too. My friend absolutely hated the room he described the room as Filthy, Disgusting, and he wanted to use the toilet but when he saw the toilet in tophias room, he said it smelled like poop, it hasn’t been cleaned in like 5 months, and it also is covered with poop and bugs are starting to come out the toilet. He gagged just from the stench alone, but when he saw it he threw up. Also we DoorDashed burger king to our door and it was 70$ and guess what. Tophia had stolen our order and ate the whole thing. Mind you we were starving and burger king was the only option available. We had knocked on her door to confront her and all she said was “oops i mustve confused your order with my order.” We asked her brother and mom and they said “she didnt give us anything she ate all of it. She knew it was your order.” Mind you this order could feed atleast 6 people (6 people were with us) AND she is soo loud for our 1 day stay the whole night we couldnt sleep all day because she was screaming to her mom. They were arguing about rotisserie chicken and apparently she wanted a whole rotisserie chicken to herself and she was making her mom get it. We told them to stop the fuss because we were trying to sleep and tophia started yelling and screaming at me on top of her lungs. Also she had a chihuahua i believe, her dog was barking all night and was HYPER. Her dog kept barking alot to the point where i couldnt sleep and we all had to ask for new rooms. Eventually we left at 6AM because we couldnt handle tophia anymore and we left for good. If you ever visit here, i just want to warn you about tophia, Tip: When you ask for a room, tell them you dont want a room next to...

Oh my gosh. Let me tell you about my experience staying at this place for a couple of nights, hoping to have a great time. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the horrifying sight of roaches crawling out of one of the rooms. It was absolutely repulsive.

As if that wasn't bad enough, things only got worse as the night progressed. At around 3am, I was startled awake by the sound of a door slamming and heavy stomping. To my utter disbelief, a woman, who appeared to be in her 40s, began banging on my door demanding Burger King. It was a bizarre and unsettling encounter. Reluctantly, I opened the door, only to be greeted by a sight that made my stomach turn. This woman had frizzy, curly hair, wrinkled skin, and a shirt covered in stains. But that wasn't the worst part. As she stood there, another woman's voice called out, shouting "Tophia, come back now!" Meanwhile, this woman started digging her nose and, horrifyingly, pulled out a Mountain Dew from her undergarments that emitted a putrid smell.

By the next day, I knew I had to leave this place, but circumstances forced me to stay for one more night. The morning brought yet another encounter with the same repulsive woman from the previous day. She walked out the door wearing the same filthy clothes and, to my absolute disgust, she was barefoot. Her toenails were disgustingly long and yellow, infected with fungus that made me want to vomit.

To make matters worse, I overheard someone using a highly offensive slur. It was deeply offensive and left me feeling utterly disgusted.

Trying my best to ignore the unpleasantness, I retreated back to my room. However, my sleep was interrupted once again in the middle of the night. This time, it was the piercing sound of a dog barking and someone screaming. Concerned, I felt compelled to investigate. I got out of bed and ventured out of my room, following the noise. It led me to room 262, or at least I think that's the number. I knocked on the door, and to my horror, the same woman I had encountered earlier in the morning and the previous night stood there, staring back at me. And to make matters worse, there was a roach crawling on the wall right next to her, while she continued to pick her nose.

I cannot stress enough how utterly disgusted I was by this experience. The woman in question, whom I believe goes by the name Tophia, needs to be reported. This behavior is completely unacceptable and should not...
