KūKri - Hot Chicken Tenders (Midtown, Albuquerque) — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Every time we attempt to order something from this establishment, they are out of one or more items. This time, the online order system allowed us to place an order for everything we wanted. I arrived to pick up the food and the customer service person gave me the order with no further communication. I decided to check, opened it up and found that our requested sauces were not included. I went back to counter to ask, it took her about 4 minutes to return to the front, and when she did, I explained that our sauces weren't included. Her response was extremely exasperated, "We're all out of sauce, we don't have any more." I asked if they had any other sauce, and she walked to the back, grabbed two other sauces (different than what I'd ordered) and brought them to me.

My complaints are as follows: online ordering systems are very easy to customize so that people can't order things you're out of. Stay on top of what you don't have and remove it as an order option if you're out. train your staff in customer service. If you're out of something I ordered, tell me when you give me my order, don't give me a bag and leave me to discover what's missing and then act like I'm inconveniencing you by asking for it. This is a $35 order for 1 sandwich, two chicken tenders and a side item, which isn't cheap, so act like you appreciate my business a little bit and maybe offer some explanation or apology that you didn't have what I ordered - and do it BEFORE I have to dig through the bag to see if something...

This was not a good experience. It was my first time trying KūKri and it’ll also be my last.

The associate didn’t know how to describe their proprietary KūKri sauce, but I gambled and got the Hot Honey Sandwich and French fries anyway. I input my phone number to get a text when my food was ready, but that text didn’t come until much later after I had picked up my food.

I got the meal to go, and they did not include napkins or utensils. The fries were stale and a bit hard; they had obviously been sitting out a bit. The sandwich couldn’t be eaten like a traditional burger or sandwich because the chicken was so large, so I had to pull it apart with my hands and eat it that way (again, they didn’t provide utensils). The chicken itself was fine. Nothing really stood out to me about it other than the fact the hot honey was a bit overwhelming and masked any other flavors.

The unknowledgeable staff, long wait time, delayed text notification, stale fries, no utensils, overwhelming sauce on the sandwich, and the fact I couldn’t hold the sandwich to eat it makes this a place I wouldn’t return to...

I had never had Tikka chicken before and I did enjoy it quite a lot but I did prefer it on the salad instead of in the sliders which we didn't care for too much. The brioche was kind of stiff and the other ingredients didn't allow you to truly taste the chicken,however the salad I had was by far the best salad I have ever had.nice crispy green leaf lettuce without big white chunks of core sliced to the perfect size. I don't usually like honey mustard stuff but thier honey mustard vinaigrette was nothing like I was expecting or have ever tasted ,I was truly impressed.it was butteryband slightly sweet,I just was blown away.
