So this was my go to salon years ago and I had stopped going because for lack of a better word, service got sloppy. Well I decided to give them another shot after all these years. My first visit was good I had Ann and she did amazing on my toes and nails, the second visit my nails were cute and the tech did a good job but he did make me feel weird. He didnāt seem to really care for the nail choice I wanted. Heād look at the girl getting her nails done next to me and say āI love when clients do fun colorsā then proceed to look at my āsimpleā nails as if they werenāt fun enough for him. I still looked past this and thought it was most likely me just reading too much into things and just being sensitive. So I came back a third time⦠this time I remembered why I had stopped coming to the salon. I came in for a rebase and pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was seated immediately at a pedicure chair (which I appreciated) the tech had told me that another tech would do my pedicure while she worked on my nails that way I could be in and out. I appreciate them wanting to make this as quick as possible for me. But to me getting your nails or toes done is a treat and it should be relaxing. Especially if youāre forking out this money to indulge. This was not the case. The tech who did my pedicure did a good job but I felt like the tech working on my nails was rushing and cutting corners on my rebase. She didnāt reshape my nails at all, thereās some bumps and divets on my nails, I had showed her a picture of what I wanted and what I got was nothing like that. I had even picked the color I wanted for my base but she used a different color and she said theyād come together once she put the other glitter on it. My nails look nothing like the picture I showed her. I tried telling the tech them not looking like the picture but the entire time I felt so rushed!! Itās like they cared more about quantity than quality. I was there over an hour before they closed and it didnāt seem like there were other clients that were waiting so I donāt understand why it had to be so rushed? If that were the case and they didnāt have time to do my services then they should have told me they couldnāt instead of cutting corners and rushing One two of my nails popped off literally 2 days later. When I walked in the receptionist, by her treatment of me she spoke very quiet (like the girl from pitch perfect) and struggled to understand English. Due to a language barrier I struggled to NOT get placed with just anyone. Red flag 1.
Pedicure was RUSHED & half the time was painful. With little to no desire to be even remotely friendly. Iām not trying to make friends, but a little kindness would be nice. Red flag 1 1/2.
Also, Iām pretty convinced that my nail speciality and the girl next to her were talking about me in their prime language. Not get customer relations. Btw Water was cold the WHOLE pedicure. Red flag 2
Even though I booked with the owner āNiniā ,she walked out on a āfamily emergencyā I was placed on her sister for my pedicure.
The owner had the audacity to hand me a card with a name on it saying next time she wants me to ask for a āgood oneā, by good one I think she refers to her nail staff. Red flag 2 1/2.
As a response, I crumbled up the poor excuses of a business card in the storeā¦
Ended up having my manicure done by the āgood oneā (according to the owner) Hanah, she was a solid 7, and to have the āgood oneā be a solid 7 isnāt good. She did file my short nail good but she didnāt sand down my nails. Leaving a lot of bumps. Red flag strike 3.
I agree with the reviews that the place is kind of dirty and could use a remodel( look at picture of floor)!
They charged me 85 and I feel I got robbed!
Save your money and go somewhere else.
