My wife and I went to see My Hero Acadamia which only shows 9/22/2018 at 7:30pm and 9/24/2018 at the same time. We went to the 9/22/2018 show cause we new the crowed would be a bit louder and funner and we were right with the show starting the crowd was laughing and cheering. My wife and I joined in and when we did a man in front of us turned around and started yelling at us to shut the F up. I immediately reaponded with excuse me whats wrong. Than he proceeded to say that were Fing loud and Fing annoying. I responded and told him that he shouldn't have come to the first showing to such a popular show if he wanted it to be quiet. He turned fliped me the bird and said F you. At this point I stood up to get some help from the management. They went and spoke to him and the man told the manager that if someone is talking he can tell them to shut the F up. In the end my wife and I decided to leave the theater cause how shook up my wife was and how uncomfortable the situation was and that the manager wouldnt remove the man from the theater. The manager gave us tickets to come back for the only other showing. It's completely ridiculous that my wife and I were the ones who had to leave even though he was swearing and being violent. I'm very disappointed that Regal cinamas would allow someone like that to talk to other customers and not remove them from the theater. Read moreI hate to do this considering I've had many great memories here, but they are no longer the premier theater in Idaho Falls. Let me explain. Tonight I had the displeasure of attempting to see a movie at 11. We were 15 minutes late, and we rushed to the "ticket" (concession booth) to get tickets. To our dismay they impatiently told us they had closed 5 minutes earlier. I feel bad for the girl working the counter as you could see she felt really bad, but the manager seemed angered and annoyed and quickly ran off to the break room to avoid supposed "conflict". I would've been satisfied with some information about their protocol, but he didn't seem to care. We were obviously disappointed and confused, but we tried to understand. The problem is the fact that they have an obligation to stay there to sell concessions and manage the theater while a movie is playing, but making a single sale for tickets was too big an inconvenience for them. I really believe that this was mostly on the manager, as most of the workers seemed like they wanted to work with us, but he put his foot down and left. Thus ends our eventful night and my story. I want this theater to succeed, but their prices, and quality of the theater is not up to par with their competition. The Paramount theater group is half the price, and honestly their seats are much better, pair this with showing new movies and it's a no brainer. Firstly, they charged us a full soda price for a water out of the soda machine… 0 customer service training as I asked if we could have it for free or way less than a soda and was told it’s not allowed, well then I guess I won’t be back to give you any more of my money and I’ll let the public be aware they’ll be spending full soda price for tap water at this business, WOW! After we ordered pop, popcorn and snacks ($40 worth 🙄) and got seated, we find out the pop was completely flat! That’s whatever so we go back to concessions to get refills and I was treated terribly. The staff acted annoyed we were requesting refills, it was mentioned that it’s not their responsibility if the carbonation is out lol… well then who’s responsibility is it I asked them and when I asked that back I was completely ignored by the employee and he walked off. Regal can do a lot better with customer service if I’m going to pay overpriced tickets in seats that they don’t even bother upgrading. If the general manager wants to contact me and apologize for staff behavior and refund me for the water, I will update my review to reflect my experience to help the Idaho Falls community know where we can go to enjoy a movie and not feel like we are there...
