Cars Land has a powerful secret! The popular area in Disney California Adventure is home to three rides, shops, a diner, and even a massive solar grid! 🚗 In 2016, Disneyland installed over 1,400 solar panels on top of the Radiator Springs Racers show building. It’s not something that you can easily spot from most places in the park but you can quickly find the grid in Google maps. 🏎 The solar panels help power parts of the Disneyland Resort. However, on their own, they are enough to energize over 100 homes in Anaheim annually! Did you know this? Is Oogie Boogie Bash worth it? Disneyland’s Halloween party returns this year, but if you haven’t been before, you may be wondering what to expect! 👻 SPECIAL CHARACTERS - Who will show up this year? It’s always a surprise! Your ticket includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads, so you can save the photos taken by Disney photographers around the park. Not all characters have photo ops, but many do! 🕸️ COMPLIMENTARY CANDY - Oogie Boogie Bash is known for its Villain Treat Trails. These are character experiences where you get candy before seeing a Disney Villain. 🦇 ATTRACTIONS - Most of the rides are usually open! There are some special Halloween ones in Cars Land, and Guardians of the Galaxy has an even scarier overlay! 🎃 MERCHANDISE & MORE - There are some exclusive merch items and sometimes a few snacks only available during the night. Overall, it’s a fun vibe for guests wanting a Halloween event at the parks with limited crowds. Ticket dates are most Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from August 25 through October 31, ranging from $134 to $189 per ticket. Oogie Boogie Bash Villain Treat Trail locations where you can get candy! In these spots you won’t be able to stop and snap a photo. Instead, you’ll walk along a path that winds near the villains. These characters often interact with guests and you can take quick video or stills but you won’t have long to stop and photograph them. Cars Land is a themed area of Disney California Adventure, inspired by the Disney·Pixar franchise, Cars, and Route 66 in America. The 12-acre area, built as part of Disney California Adventure Park's $1.1 billion expansion project, opened on June 13, 2012, a year after the release of Cars 2.
