i just recently stayed at this hotel not even 1 week ago, i had one of the worst experiences of my life staying on this property, i came for my 21st birthday with my family to go to disney and ever since we got there it was nothing but a nightmare!
the night we checked in one of the other residents at the hotel was given a key to MY room instead of their own and then proceeded to open the door on my 14 year old cousins, nothing happened but it could've been someone who was sick in the head!
the lady went to the front desk and the front desk staff was nothing but apologetic claiming that it was indeed THEIR mistake and they will have a manager contact us in the morning due to her not being on property during the later hours of the night.
the next morning we woke up to a phone call from the manager of this hotel and her name was ruby, ruby did nothing but tell us that we are liars and that no one ever opened our room door when her own staff admitted as well as the woman that opened the door that it DID happen!
we let it all go and went to disney that day and had a wonderful at disneyland thankfully but the nightmare didnt end there, after our day at disneyland we got to the hotel and parked our vehicle in the underground parking garage which you need a room key to enter so we figured it was safe but boy was we wrong!
the next morning we woke up to find our vehicle (2024 chevrolet suburban) was broken into and what was stolen out of it was a boxlunch x disney collaboration jacket worth about $120 but are now completely out of stock, a pair of rayban sunglasses worth around $250, around $500 in cash, a dealership license plate (my uncle is a used car dealership), a handicapped plaque and a set of keys to my uncles business.
The manager ruby then proceeded to tell us that there is nothing she can do besides give us insurance claims and corporates numbers, she gave us 2 fake numbers that did nothing but connection us to the lifealert corporate number??? we then asked her if she could at least show us the footage from the garage to see who broke into our vehicle, she told us there us not only no cameras in the garage but there is no cameras on the ENTIRE property, after hearing this we was nothing but furious and terrified because we no longer felt safe in this “luxury hotel”
later that night when we got back to the hotel we seen some of the front desk staff and asked them “why is there no cameras in the garage or on the property?” and they looked at us with nothing but confusion in their eyes and then proceeded to tell us there is MULTIPLE cameras all over the property and garage! the next day later we left but before we did we tried to ask for corporate and insurance claims numbers one last time and we was told to get off the property before they call the police and have us trespassed and arrested, i am NEVER staying to a marriott again and Ruby as the manager of the hotel should be FIRED! i’ve never felt so disgusted and violated in my life and that is all thanks to marriott and manager Ruby.

Read moreIt was from a Wednesday to Friday (3 days) reservation supposedly, I arrived earlier than check on Wednesday, and was told my room was not ready yet, understandable! So I waited at the pool area.
I got hungry so I came down to get something to eat, but also did a follow up if I may check in, which I did! A man helped me checked in, however my payment was not successfully processed, so he allowed me to go ahead and settle them later so I may go to my room first.
I rested for little hour & then went to Disneyland, until 2300. I slept just before 0000…….tired!
0730 Sharp Thursday, Their operational manager escalated my payment issue & explained that my Cc on file was not retrieved/changed by someone during my check in…very poor on explaining by the way…I really avoided the trouble since it was early in the morning, & I really looked forward to my last day in Disneyland ….she refused to accommodate me, I asked what she’ll need to go do next, very kindly, she said I will need to vacate my room immediately.
I’m still trying to understand why, so I said I can leave my Cc with you? I’m not sure what happened when I am a member & I got my Cc on file? She then said, yes but it’s no longer on here, oh (I said)
She also added, “let’s get the Cc on file then you can let me know when to charge that, for the night you stayed here”
I said, okay? Can I come back later after going Disneyland & check in again? She gave me clueless expression on her face & walked to get her business card, and to contact her if anything else needed/whatever?
She then called security to accompany me, vacate my room. (Packing my stuff up, 0830!!)
I go on about my day, this operational manager allowed me to only use the lobby restroom to get ready for my day.
….got to leave my luggage in the reception. Came back around 1700…to retrieve my bags. Gives my ticket, then this man says oh wait this is a special case…can I please have your credit card ….now I begin to stand ip & realize that this entire situation was handled very poorly, especially letting the op. Manager know I’m travelling by myself….
I explained to the man helping me with his colleague shadowing himself (as he said he’s new in this place) what happened this morning. I asked if this lady has a supervisor I can report her style of customer service that same morning.
The colleague who shadows the guy calls her general manager & agreed to charge me nothing due to the worst customer experience I have ever gotten ! Then gave me my luggage……
Had to stay somewhere else… Thanks to the lady & two men staff who helped me get comfortable..including security guy being patient when I was packing as fast as possible, as well as Ruby the manager who allowed me to retrieve my luggage without my Cc…however that lady who claims she is the operational manager needs to be reviewed by the way she treated me on this day, I don’t believe this was fair To experience with anyone checking/staying in...
Read moreRecently stayed here and was disappointed for multiple reasons. I will start out by saying that the Kids Suite was very nicely set up. We enjoyed the layout. Our issues are that the people who stayed above us were extremely loud and had kids running from one end of the room to the other. This continued for 2 days. I called the front desk and they assured me that the guests were checking out. I’m not sure if that was entirely true or if the new guests were equally loud with kids running back and forth. 3 nights there, 3 nights with no sleep. The pool situation was also irritating. There’s a sign that says no more than 6 in the pool. We couldn’t even get in to swim (which is one of the biggest reasons we stayed at this hotel). There’s no monitoring of the pool so the families that were there, stayed forever and we weren’t able to use the pool. If there’s going to be a maximum number of people than someone should be there to monitor it or have guests make reservations to use the pool for a couple hours at a time. We also called to ask for extra towels and toilet paper 3 times! Called in the morning and the towels arrived at about 5pm. We never received the toilet paper. We had to use wipes and napkins from our food orders. Our biggest issue though, which is the reason we will never stay here again, is that the room had used sun flower seeds by the kids bunk bed and used eyelashes by the nightstand in the other room. Had I seen this when we first checked in, I would’ve asked for a different room or a refund. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve stayed at a Marriott property and we will probably never stay with Marriott again. This was EXTREMELY disturbing to see on our checkout day and we only saw it because my daughter dropped her AirPods. 2 of our kids have major health conditions which we take extra precautions with. I personally sanitize high touch areas and spray Lysol in our hotel rooms before our children enter but this wasn’t in plain sight. Would it really be a bother for housekeeping to look behind beds, under nightstands, behind toilets etc when they’re cleaning? Again, this was my BIGGEST issue. Especially being that we are still in a pandemic. We travel very often. At least once a month, and I’ve never seen a hotel be dirty like this. I mentioned it to the front desk staff when I was checking out and all I got was a “oh ok I’ll let housekeeping know”. Such a shame that housekeeping wasn’t better...
