Michaels — Attraction in Apple Valley

The retail side is adequate, but would advise steering clear of their framing. I brought a frame in late July and only just got the frame back in late February.

My framing order was a somewhat complicated framing order of a family heirloom, but the two gals that were taking my order had been there for a combined 10+ years and seemed more than capable, so I wasn't concerned.

Then began the ghosting/telephone tag waiting game. Apparently, both employees left, leaving the frame shop in the hands of a less experienced framer. Instead of contacting me and letting me know outright that the replacement didn't have the tools/skills needed to complete the job, the frame shop just outright ignored my project, leaving me to have to call multiple times and follow up. One of the times they just outright lied that they were just waiting for a part that was on order, come to later find out that it was a part that just needed to be picked up from a hardware store. It took 7 months, 5 phone calls, and 2 follow-up in-person visits to finally get my piece, and by then, so much time had lapsed that the final product wasn't even really what I had described in the first place.

The manager did refund the labor which is why their raring isn't lower, but I'd strongly recommend paying the extra money to go to a dedicated frame shop of someone who...

I will refrain from going here again...just came from the Apple valley location...they give you so many coupons but they won't tell you there are so catch to their coupons. First look at the dates of the coupons....nevermind the expiration date...you go there a day before your coupon starts even if you come from the next town....NADA!!! Zilch! ZERO!!! Then you show your 40percent coupon for ANY regular priced Item...so I bought me a drawing book....well guess what...books are NOT included! So I get me one of those organizers...not on sale, expensive, nice but I reckon with my 40percent coupon I can live with it!!!! Well also NOT included!!!! Why? Because it's one of there special store items....WT@#&+_/?????.....ok...the coupon says 40percent off any regular priced item...which items are those then? The candy bars, the softdrinks? Coz those are usually not on sale....oh well...I am throwing away ALL these silly coupons and just go to Walmart or some other craft store. Ordered gifts for my 2 nieces online as they didn't have stock in the store. One came correct, but one did not. Called customer service last night, and although on hold 7 min, the woman who helped me was very sweet, she apologized, and offered to send out a replacement and a return label to ship back the other one. I asked if I would have it in time for Christmas, as it was a gift for my niece, and she said she didn't have the authority to expedite the shipment, but I could talk to her sup. Was transferred and then my call was dropped. So I called the local Apple Valley store and talked to Tamra who not only said she would handle the return but would get it shipped out, then she said better yet I will just deliver it to you personally as I live close to you. Fast forward to today...and she just left! Wow!! Talk about going above...
