We dropped my engagement ring off on a Wednesday and were told the resize and platinum addition would be complete by Saturday after they got the final quote over to us that night. The following Monday we reached out because we hadn’t even gotten the quote back yet. They had my ring ready to be picked up the following Saturday (a week later than we were originally told). No big deal, but the lack of communication and misleading information we were originally told was frustrating.
Somehow, the person at the Appleton store had taken my size wrong and it was a full size and a half too small. I offered to drop my ring off in Oshkosh the following Tuesday and they were going to have it ready for pickup in Appleton on Wednesday because I was leaving for a trip on Thursday.
The speed of that resize was awesome, but on my way home I was looking more closely at the ring and realized it was very obviously missing a diamond! There was also black gunk on the ring, so they did not do a good job of cleaning it before it was returned (I wasn’t surprised because there’s no way they looked at it closely before returning it.) They did replace the diamond after we returned from our trip. We originally dropped it off on March 9th and didn’t get it back with all of the fixes until April 1st. What should’ve been 3 days turned into more than three weeks of driving back and forth to this store with a new problem arising each time.
We were initially really excited to go to Alyssa and Anna for my engagement ring resize and to get my wedding band, but we’re very turned off by this experience. Madison was incredibly helpful through the whole process but overall it was more frustration than it was worth. The platinum on the band is not even well added and is now bumpy in spots. I would not recommend taking your jewelry...
Read moreI’m actually incredibly disappointed with not only my experience but now with the product as well. Initially my best friend and I were having a girls day and decided to check out the highly anticipated “Charm Bar” at Alyssa and Anna. We walked in and it was immediately an incredibly awkward experience. Some ladies in the back asked “CAN we help you with something?” Giving us the feeling that we didn’t belong. We excitedly announced we were there to try their charm bar. “Oh, we are still setting up but the necklaces and bracelets are right there.” THAT WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE WE WERE MET WITH. Despite being open a few weeks, the whole area was filled with them setting up so we barely had any room to sit and get our pieces together. It was a very awkward vibe overall. We had to figure out how to assemble these pieces ourselves and after struggling a little, we were finally done. We stood up and were staring at each other for about a whole minute waiting for someone to approach (as they were all in the same room as us) and ask us if we’d finished. I went to tell them we were finished and it is then that an employee finally went to check us out. Despite the prices being advertised differently in person on their website, we reluctantly each spent between 55-65 dollars. We were left a little uncomfortable with the situation however, left feeling content since we at least had our piece of “fine jewelry” as advertised. Now a week later, and my necklace, which is paid almost 65 dollars for, has tarnished completely and turned my neck green. I have not worn it in the shower just daily wear. For a piece of “fine jewelry” and paying that much for it, I am left severely...
