OMG! What a disappointment! I rate this place a Zero-star and I'm from New Orleans. We stopped by this big seafood restaurant on the end where Boomer Jacks use to be, its called, Half Shell, I think. It has a large sign advertising seaford, crabs, shrimp, gumbo on the side facing Road to Six Flags in the plaza with Bed Bath and Beyond right off Collins near I-30 and the stadium.

DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME or money. Super inflated prices, greasy bland chicken, not seafood gumbo for $7 bucks! Tastless over battered fish they claim is catfish but in reality is a cheap, mushy knockoff from Asia. They even asked would we like the American or the Asian catfish? We said only American please!. It didn't smell or taste like any catfish I've ever eaten and when broken apart it was very gel-like and slimy inside with absolutely NO flavor. I showed the waitress who said she's allergic to catfish but she did nothing and looked at me with a blank face. We left almost the entire broken up fish and all the fries on the table. The tartar sauce was the best thing on the entire plate. The fries looked dark, overcooked and not even a sprinkle of salt or any seasoning was on them. I only ate 1 of them and it was disgusting. The grill cheese sandwich was dry and burnt. We asked for Texas toast to come to the table first as an appetizer but it took over 10+ minutes for it to come to the table. The waitress was nice but super slow and non responsive. When the two big baskets of fries came to the table she dropped them off and disappeared without bringing or offering ketchup, salt or anything. We waited 10+ minutes for her to return and had to wave her down while she stood at the pickup window chatting before we could get ketchup to the table. Two other tables of guests who arrived after us were served before us. The place was big and basically empty inside with only 2 other tables of guests in there besides us. After yet another 10-15 minutes of waiting for the check we had to stand up and wave the waitress down to get her attention that we wanted to leave very disappointed and it took another extended amount of time to get the check in an almost empty restaurant. A $5 tip was far too generous. We will not return and I don't recommend. Poor quality expensive food cleverly disguised as authentic. I'm sure if a food or health inspector tested that fish they will tell you it's Not catfish but rather a cheap knockoff from overseas. Don't let them fool you by saying, they put a certain colored toothpick in the American catfish verses the Asian catfish. Either the cook or management is getting over. I guarantee you the cook nor the waitress could tell you the difference between Asian or American catfish nor most patrons for that matter.

Do...

Previous review posted in error. My apologies.

Popcorn store is the only thing I've ever really cherished up there. It is one of the original stores left over and I've been going there all of my life, and they have been nothing but amazing! Burlington is great for Big & Tall clothes for someone like me, and America's Best is my favorite eye place. These are what I kept going here for recently. Previously Best Buy, Stein Mart, Half-Price Books, and Supercuts were other favorites.

What I posted in anger isn't true at all, but nonetheless getting a 6 month ban for walking around the closed parts of this place, and getting multiple police surrounding you along with security being very disrespectful at that as well, I don't know what to think. Never experienced this at all in the 25+ years I've been coming here. The response was out of hand in my opinion. Fence it off or block off the empty hallways except for employees so people can't walk through most of it then if so concerned. Its never been an issue I guess until now. I just hope this place can be saved. PS, Stop having security act like they're the law and act like they can treat people with disrespect and wrongdoing around parking. Wrong...

When u order your fluid to be mailed, it doesn't. Very rude customer service there with one guy who told me to stop calling. He got an very tacky rude mood when I was only going to ask about the purchase we had made ($60) to see when they mailed it cause it was going on a week and a half since we had placed the order. He wouldn't let me speak. He hung up on me and told me to stop calling. The supervisor did talk to me and she did deliver my purchases. But the guy that brought it to me, he said you know your address is 5959, I said thats the office address, would u like to see a bill with my address on it, which when u live in apartments every building has a different building number. I was always satisfied with them and over the year spent alot of money with them. But after this I haven't been back. They need to work on the customer care and RESPECT the customer. If not, hire someone friendly. Never will spend anymore of my...

Lincoln square is nice and I do like the fountains but the approach coming off of N Collins st is very harsh and can easily cause damage to low vehicles, this is the entrance used for Studio Movie Grill. There are some good businesses within the square for sure. Please smooth out the terribly steep concrete entrance, God forbid the theatre shows one of the 69 Need For Speed movies and all of the low riders come to watch it... Mufflers all over N Collins st lol 😂

You can get a lot done in the shopping center, in terms of errand wise. I was able to get toiletries for the week, get gas and groceries for the week, buy two brand-new shirts and a packet for schoolwork. Then I wrapped it up with a leisure time book to read. Whereas these errands would usually take close to three or four hours I completed them all in under one due to the convenience of how close the locations are.

This square is pretty massive yet it feels so generic. It doesn't really feel like a "square" cause all you see are cars and there are even anti bike signs too, for a square that's not really people friendly. I only ever have a reason to come for the public art, like the fountain and the Sculptures, but even those aren't in particular abundance here.
