Well, let me start by saying this: when you walk into Hooters, you know what you’re getting. It’s a place that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s part of the charm.
Now, as far as the bar goes, it’s solid. They’ve got a good selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles. You’ve got your classic domestics, your imports, and a few craft brews in there too. If you’re looking for a cold drink to unwind, they’ve got you covered.
Moving on to the food, the wings are what most folks come for, and I can see why. They’re crispy, flavorful, and you’ve got plenty of sauces to choose from. Whether you’re into something spicy or something a little more mild, there’s an option. Other items on the menu? They’re alright. The burgers are decent, and the fries do their job. But let's be clear – the wings are the star of the show.
Now, the atmosphere is laid-back. It’s got that classic sports bar vibe, with TVs everywhere, so you’re never missing a game. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back with some buddies, enjoy some good conversation, and have a few laughs. The music’s upbeat, and the energy is there, but it’s not overwhelming.
And finally, the Hooters themselves. It’s no secret that Hooters has a certain reputation, and that’s part of the brand. The waitstaff is friendly, attentive, and they keep the mood light. It’s all in good fun, and if you’re going in with the right expectations, you’ll have a good time.
In summary, Hooters isn’t trying to be fancy. It’s a spot for some wings, a beer, and a bit of nostalgia. If you keep it simple, you’re gonna...
Read moreEvery Hooters you go to can be a total mixed bag of what to expect. I've visited every Hooters in DFW at some point and I must say that this was on the lower end of my experience list. The staff was friendly and helpful, but when I come to Hooters, the main thing that matters to me are the wings. That said, the wings were good, but oddly large. I mean, they looked like unnatural frakenwings when they came out on the plate. Regardless, they were cooked well and tasted fine. I am going to ding this location for two reasons. 1) The low ceilings really constricted the space, this (in and of itself) isn't a major problem, but couple that with what looks to be very aged decor and it looks like you walk into an early 90's time portal. Not a huge deal, but distinctly noticeable from most of the other Hooters in the area. 2) For some reason, the table directly across from us was being used to store a ton of dirty dishware and was not bussed until right as we were leaving. Nothing like having a table full of dirty dishware staring at you for your entire meal. These are fixable issues, but I feel do bring the quality of the location down. I may update my review at some point if I go back to visit, but I am sticking with 3 stars for now. If you want Hooters and there is another one close by, I'd venture to check that one out before...
Read moreWent in to get some laptop work done while sitting at the bar. Pretty empty in here, which is why I knew I could get a seat at the bar.
Hooters is the only establishment I’ve ever been at that will cut you off. Apparently I had too many beers (3) and was told I couldn’t get served anymore. I had 3 corona premiers which is less than 4% I believe closer to 3%. I get rules and following them, however I saw cooks in the back eating food which is also a health code rule. The expo manager and store manager were there and saw it which means it’s tolerated. They were more concerned with an upset customer they were talking about. It was a bald manager and middle aged expo manager. It’s not tasting when I see them eating multiple French fries, guys at McDonalds don’t have to test French fries lol but apparently at hooters that’s fine.
Again if you’re going to follow the rules, follow all of them.
I think the limiting of beers is why this place is empty. Such a shame they are so close to the stadium but I wouldn’t come here if you want to enjoy drinking a beer without worrying you had too many light beers. Wild.
lol it’s good to know they will take health codes into consideration. Seriously read...
