Disappointing Experience at Our Family’s Favorite Restaurant
It’s not easy to leave a negative review, especially about a place my family has always enjoyed. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Chick-fil-A at 1505 N Collins St, Arlington, TX 76011, left us extremely disappointed.
Around 6:00 PM, we ordered our meals and let our two kids, ages 3 and 1, play in the playground. They were having fun, joined by another little girl. At one point, all the kids came down the slide together, which led to a few bumps but nothing serious.
Shortly after, the other little girl went to find her mom and returned in tears. Her mother stormed into the playground, pointed at my children, and aggressively demanded to know which one “hurt her daughter.” I calmly explained that I was their mother and reassured her that no harm was intended. Despite my calm approach, the other mother remained hostile.
She then involved the manager, Jocelyn, and I spoke with her as well to explain the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, Jocelyn handled the situation poorly. Instead of defusing the conflict, she threatened to close the playground and even mentioned calling the police—an unnecessarily extreme response to what was simply children playing.
This reaction was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. No one was hurt, and the situation did not warrant such escalation. As a parent, I found it upsetting and unfair to have my young children treated this way in a place where they are supposed to feel safe.
I hope the management reviews this incident, including any available footage, and uses it as an opportunity to train staff on handling such situations with understanding and professionalism.

Read moreI left extremely disappointed with the customer service I received today. From start to finish, the experience was frustrating—especially because I was lied to directly, as if I wouldn’t notice.
To begin with, the cashier gave me the wrong change. My order total was $23.96, and I paid with $40. She only returned $3, when I was clearly owed more. I was momentarily distracted with my kids and didn’t catch the error until I was already waiting at the front for my food.
While waiting, we were completely ignored for a long time. Several cars that arrived after us were served and left before we even got our food. When I finally got someone’s attention and explained the issue with the change and the delay, I was told they had to retrieve the money bag from the cashier and count it to verify before they could give me what I was owed—and only if I really needed the change.
After waiting even longer, I received cold food, which only made the situation worse. I went inside to speak with the manager. She showed me the receipt—which I was never given when I paid—and even that didn’t add up correctly. They should have caught the mistake themselves immediately.
When I mentioned the long wait for food, the manager claimed there were “kitchen issues.” That turned out to be untrue. The real reason we were ignored was because they had incorrect vehicle information attached to our order.
In the end, I didn’t even eat the food because it was cold even before I got home. The manager offered only two coupons instead of issuing a proper refund, which was not acceptable given the poor service and...
Read moreAnother horrible experience that resulted in my child CHOKING on a chicken bone that were in the nuggets in her chicken minis Saturday. This was very scary and my daughter had this bone lodged in her throat to were she was not getting air, I performed the Heimlich on her and was able to get her to cough it out. This was very scary and I honestly thought she may die when her face and lips started turning blue. My child is 12, can you imagine if I was not right there when she was eating. Can you imagine if that was a younger child. Could you IMAGINE IF MY KID DIED??? Yes, that may be an extreme thought but unfortunately that is a reality that could have happened if I was not right there. Lastly, COULD YOU IMAGINE HOW YOU WOULD FEEL IF IT WAS YOUR KID???? Now my child is terrified to eat any meat products to the point I am now cutting up all of her food so she will actually eat. We love chick fil a, I understand things happen but this could have caused me to lost my child. I tried calling the location Saturday to speak with a manager, the young lade apologize multiple times and assured me a manager or the owner would contact me. It is now 1238pm on the following Monday, still no call or email following up or checking on my kid. If I do not hear back and come to a resolution (refund at the minimum expectation), I will very likely be seeking legal representation. I have photos of the phone, documentation of each call and communication I have sent.
