How bout we give this business a -1 it don't deserve a star ✨️. Sad thing I want to take one of my best friand there to celebrate her birthday and get a couple of drinks and have a girl's day out. Well little did we know that we was going to walk into a disaster . soon as we walked in There was no acknowledgment of us 3 being in the front until 5 minutes.A guy walked up and said we can sit anywhere which we later learned it was the GM lol that's what they said. Then when we sat ourselves we waited over 10 minutes for waitress to come. Then When Mallory, our waitress finally came, we ordered drinks and all I ordered was a Margarita with salt.She brought it with sugar and then when I asked for another 12 redo it with the salt it took over thirty minutes. Then, the rude bartender brought the drink and slammed it on the table 😆 I told her she could take it back with that attitude...smh My friend ordered one shot.The lady brought 2 and says she wouldn't charge it.It was on the house, but you know how they work.When we got the bill it was on it so we had to dispute that. Then my other friend which was the birthday girl about a hurricane which was so sweet.She couldn't taste the liquor when they brought another one.It was a different color instead of being reddish orange it was orange color. Then when the food came out My friend got A seafood boil which had no corn and potatoes, but didn't find out later that they ran out of corn and potatoes and have the audacity to say they need to Go to the store or my friend can stop by the store on my way home to get the corn. That was a straight insult and she was playing like we was cool. It just got worse by the minute. The Manager Dre came out to assist and he didn't know how to talk. He looked intimidate and then the GM Corey came back kept apologizing but I Reassured him that I didn't care if they had free food for the day.I wouldn't come back because of the services we received and the lack of communication of the lack of food. It was so bad that I Tipped alonzo the guy that clean the tables off $20 because of how engaged he was with the clients walking in. He even sat them down when they came and at the same time he was cleaning off the other table. He treated all the guests like we should have been treated when we first got there. And it wasn't being paid, but our waiter happened to walk up.When she saw him talk to us and I tipped him the twenty dollars right in front of her and I let the owner know why and why the waitress wasn't getting a tip because of the services and rudeness.. TO THE POINT THE GM ONLY CHARGED US $12 A PIECE FROM OUR ORIGINAL BILL . THEN WE WENT NEXT DOOR TO BOOMERJACKS AND ATE AND GOT TIPSY AND TALKED ABLY HOUR THE BAD SERVICES NEXT DOOR....

But the moral of this long story. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. THEY NEED A FULL STAFF CLEANING. FROM THE GM TO THE WAITRESSES. SHUT THAT LOCATION DOWN...

Absolutely disappointed in my experience at this location in Arlington. I went in after a chemotherapy appointment on 11/18. So keep in mind I was already drained. I had my sister with me we ordered our food the server's name was Sam. Sam repeated our orders back to us wrong 1st my sister said I would like " 1lb of shrimp 1lb of mussels" Sam said 1/2lb of shrimp 1/2lb of mussels" we corrected her. My sister said "I would like hot" Sam repeated you want mild. Again we corrected her. I ordered the M.V.P when she came with the bill minds was 75.00 she charged me for the V.I.P. sam proceeded to say when i asked you you said yes. This lady couldn't get my sister's order right I NO SURE SHE HEARD WHAT SHE WANTED TO HEAR. She sent 3 other staff to my table for none of them to not comprehend nor grasp what the issue was which was I just wanted my price adjusted due to Sam messing up. IT WAS ALL HER FAULT FOR NOT LISTENING WHICH IS KEY TO BEING A SERVER. I was told they sent 3 people to my table because there was no GM working that day. THE BILL WAS PAID I WAS NOT ACCOMMODATED I WALKED OUT DUE TO ME NOT HANING ANY MORE ENERGY TO ARGUE. I CALLED SAME DAY TO GET THE DAY AND TIME THE General MANAGER WOULD BE AVAILABLE AND WAS GREETED ON THE PHONE WITH A GENTLEMAN WHOM NAME I FORGOT TO GET HE SAID HE WAS THE ACTING MANAGER. I EXPRESSED I DID NOT WANT TO SPEAK WITH HIM DUE TO HIM NOT EVEN INTRODUCING HIMSELF AS SUCH MANAGER WHEN I WAS JUST INSIDE OF THAT RESTAURANT. AFTER CONTINUING TO GIVE ME A HARD TIME HE FINALLY SAID THE GM NAME IS CRAIG IN HE WILL BE IN ON 11/19 AT 11AM NOW WHEN I CALL I GET HUNG UP ON. SOMEONE NEEDS TO REACH OUT TO MAKE THIS RIGHT! IM SICK IM TIRED OF YOU ESTABLISHMENTS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE IN HAVE NO REGARDS. SAM SUCKS AS A WAITRESS TAKE HER NONE LISTENING SELF OFF THE FLOORS. SOMEONE NEEDS TO CONTACT ME THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I haven't even gave my review on the food taste because that's a whole another point. Let's just say NO FLAVOR I GOT THE HOTTEST SAUCE IT WAS NOT HOT AT ALL. SAM TOLD ME THE KITCHEN WAS OFF THAT DAY SHE AGREED IT DID NOT TASTE...

First time experience. Upon entry, we noticed the front door was filthy! Looked like an unsupervised child had spread food all over the inside all below 3 foot line. Our waitress was Latoya who immediately exhibited attitude. She was not rude, but was very short with her answers. We observed Latoya chatting it up with other patrons while providing the most basic wait service to us. We ordered a Calamari appetizer to share which came out with the main meal. Poor delivery and timing with little concern as to making it an enjoyable dining experience, but rather just eat, pay your bill and leave. The Calamari was very rubbery and cannot be recommended. We also ordered "The Boss" to share which had two large fried catfish filets, 8 fried shrimp with hush puppies and a heap of French fries. The Catfish was meaty, but the center was under cooked, greasy and mushy. The 8 Fried Shrimp were the standout highlight of the meal. The Shrimp were cooked correctly, and seasoned well. We definitely recommend the Fried Shrimp! We ordered Sprite and Unsweetened Tea. Sprite was as expected, the Unsweetened Tea was watered down and had little to no flavor. When ordering our meal, we requested additional Cocktail and Tartar sauces ( we like our sauces ) which upon attempting to order, Latoya once again threw attitude about just how much sauce we "Needed". Our bill with tip was $60 which included charges of $0.75 each for 1 additional Tartar sauce and 1 additional Cocktail sauce. Yes, a petty $1.50 Added to our bill which Latoya never told us would be additional. Bottom line, Shell Shack has potential; however, if your waitstaff is off-putting and you are petty enough to sneak a $1.50 charge for sauce onto a $60 ticket, maybe Management needs to back up and look at the...

I truly hope this reaches the manager or owner and that they take this seriously — no guest deserves to be treated this way!!! I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so poor that I felt the need to share. First off, we waited at our table for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Eventually, a lady walked over — no greeting, no menu, no water — just a rude, "What do you want?" I told her I needed a menu… She came back with the menu, but still no basic courtesy or even water. Not a great first impression. Six more minutes go by, and finally, another staff member comes over. We placed our order, and surprisingly, the food came out quickly — that was the only positive moment of the entire visit. After we finished eating, I asked the same lady for the bill. She gave me a look like I had just insulted her personally, then went and told the guy who had served us. Now comes the awkward part: he brings over a random sheet of paper and just hands it to me. No explanation, no card machine. I had no idea how I was supposed to pay. When I called him back to ask, he told me I had to walk all the way to the bar to pay — meanwhile, I watched other tables getting their tabs brought directly to them. It made me feel embarrassed, awkward, and honestly, like we were being treated differently for no reason. All in all, this was a deeply uncomfortable experience. Zero hospitality, poor service, and inconsistent treatment of guests. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone — especially when there are so many better options in the area that actually know how to treat their customers… I hate this place…and I will make sure I tell this to all of my friends..

I used to love the Shell Shack but I've been dealing with an issue for over a month that is inexcusable. On May 8th 2021 I ordered takeout, on this date the wait was a bit longer than usual but no worries. I wait because I saw that the place was pretty business. Upon getting home and digging in to my meal, I found what I believed to be hair inside my crab. My theory is maybe it fell into the pot while being cooked and made it way through the shell but again no worries, accidents happen. Since I lived 25 minutes from this location I decided to call the corporate number instead of going back up since there's no direct line to the restaurant. I let them know the issue and that I would like to be refunded. I was told to contact and send pictures over to Shelbie Wright to handle the situation. After sending over the photos, the only email I received back from Shelbie was deny that it was hair and that I was only eligible to receive a gift card for less than my meal. I sent a response stating I understand mistake happened but if you can't own up to that mistake I don't want to return the restaurant due this happening directly post pandemic and would rather receive a full refund and instead of a partial amount on a gift card. Since sending that email I have not received any response, as well if I try to call the corporate office now from my phone the call drops while ringing. The way this situation was handled is no way dictate customer service. Since my visit there are other review on Yelp that have similar issues with hair. It's really sad what's is happening to this location and how they treat customers, hopefully someday I am treated fairly and do receive a refund I deserve.

I just came across the Shrll Shack while in Arlington today so, after reviewing their menu online I decided to give them a try. First, the portion sizes are true Texas Size which was pleasing to the eye. My friend and I both ordered Ceasar Salads however, she ordered the side dish Size with chicken and I the regular with salmon. The small salad was tasty and the chicken had a pleasant seasoning however, the salad was drowned in salad dressing. The salad with the salmon had some bad lettuce on the plate which is shown in the photo posted. Their was once again; way too much salad dressing applied to the salad which caused the croutons to get soggy before I was finished eating. In addition, the skin on the salmon was removed and this beautiful fish was over cooked thus; dried around the edges. The cook receives a small amount of redemption however because, the fish did have a tasty seasoning on it and it was moist in the center. We had an order of steamed broccoli which also had a mild seasoning added to it that was pretty good but, some of the broccoli didnt appear fresh so, maybe in the future they will ensure to serve fresh vegetables... I found the prices to be unappealing as they where simply put too high however, if you're going to frequent this establishment just be aware that although their staff are very cordial, it doesn't make up for their high prices. I don't mind paying more when I receive food that not only looks, smells and taste great but, it must also not contain old and or wilted vegetables...
