Pottery Barn Outlet — Attraction in Arlington

I had high hopes for this store because I love the look of their decor and bedding. Unfortunately, it was a bust. Ridiculously high prices on items — even with 50% off!! One curtain panel was $159 on sale… really?? Not only that, I actually came across a couple of items marked down very low, and when I was at the checkout, they wouldn’t honor that price. They said it must have been a mistake, but I found 5 or 6 items clearly marked down and they refused to sell them for the marked down price. Even if it was a mistake , they should have honored it. Seriously, #potterybarn, if you’re selling a single curtain panel for $159, you can afford to let me buy the marked down items!! Terrible customer service. Ridiculous prices. I had the advantage of visiting this store and the San Marcos one in the same weekend. Sure, San Marcos is bigger, but it’s more crowded and there is a lot of broken junk. This store is smaller, cleaner and merchandised well. Not everything is a fantastic deal, but that’s part of the fun — looking for that great thing at that great price. I would say it seems like much of the merchandise Is overstock and discontinued. When you find something you like, just check to see if it’s available on the website or in a local store for less. I’ve purchased several things here. Rugs are a good deal and you avoid shipping. This store is absolutely overpriced. I went in to look for a comforter for my partner and I only to see visibly damaged and dirty chairs priced at outrageous prices, I witnessed a customer allow their dog to jump on the furniture and tables, none of the employees would greet you nor speak to you. One look at the store and you’d think they were going out of business only to be dumbfounded by table that’s over $1,800 with no chairs, a $300.00 hamper when you can find ones similar on Amazon for $100.00, and linen sheets for $259.00.
