I try not to write negative reviews, buuuut... I'm writing this review WHILE IN LINE in the drive-thru here. Not only is it a LONG line. It's a SLOOOOOW line. This is the 7th or 8th time I've tried this location (we keep trying to give them another chance) on different days of the week and at different times. But we've only made it through the line once because of how excessively long the wait is. This wait is going on 30+ mins and we've maybe moved 3 or 4 car lengths in that time. We're not even close to the speaker to order yet...
No complaints about the food - the food is always great. Google their secret menu if you arent already aware.
But this location is NOT WORTH THE WAIT. Every time I've been in line, multiple people from the drive-thru line end up parking to go inside instead, in hopes that dine in or take out will be faster. (I've tried that too... nope, NOT faster...)
I know they make it fresh, but folks are just ordering a burger and fries off a basic menu, right? (again, don't get me wrong, it's a GREAT burger and fries...) I could've driven to the Mansfield location and already had my food by now. They seem to be 10x faster there.
Do they need more staff? Do they need a bigger kitchen? Better training? Is it somehow because proximity to Parks Mall? How could they have faster performance?
The staff deserves their dues - they've always been cheerful and helpful, and it's obvious they're working hard and trying to go as fast as they can (I've never seen any of the staff loafing at all). They've been consistently hardworking, friendly, helpful, and attentive. So what's the issue? I don't know, but I wish/hope that management or ownership could figure it out.
What I DO know is that this is the ONLY In-N-Out that I've been to with this problem...
I wasn't even hungry when I got into line (was tryna order for the hungry kiddos...) but we've waited so long, now I am. And the kids just asked pitifully "Have we been in this line for more than an hour?!"
Sorry to say that whatever's coming In-N-Out of here is not coming in or out fast. Save yourself the trouble, and time, and drive a few miles down the road to the Mansfield location. You'll easily save 30-45 minutes, maybe more.
This lengthy review was written while waiting in the...
Read moreHere's the Key: Eat your food before it gets cold. Once it's cold it's disgusting, BUT when it's hot it's the best thing ever! Eat your fries first, they will get cold before your burger. They have a secret menu also, try your burger animal style I ABSOLUTELY LOOOVVEEE IT! The thing about In-N-Out Burger is it's simple and it is an ordinary Burger (they do use very high quality meat, and only fresh local ingredients though) . But when you add the little things in that they do it really makes it special. Then a lot of times in and out gets a bad rap because people love it so much that when visitors try it they're really not impressed. If you can find out how you like your burger it's the best! Also they don't carry anything other than ketchup, mustard, or their spread which is like Thousand Island ( I personally don't like thousand island or mayonnaise but I love their spread). If you're someone that has to have mayonnaise the spread is mayonnaise based but if you don't want that then I wouldn't suggest going here because that's all they have. But it's really good and definitely worth the try. Get it with grilled onions if you like that. There...
Read moreDecent hamburgers and cheeseburgers, don't care for the sauce, they should offer at least mustard mayonnaise and ketchup as alternatives. The fries are good fresh is always best. However I don't like how they make their hamburgers upside down, this was The fad in the 90s I can't see why people do this. The first thing you taste when you eat a burger this way is the salad, then the burger and the cheese come much later. I want to taste the burger first and then have the salad complimented. Oh I get it you always go out to dinner and you get served your salad first then comes the entree oh that must be their theory behind this. Also not a big fan of their set dressing. My friend and I went there once a few years back he was a fan I was just getting used to them, however we both did not care for their sauce/dressing. I brought some of my sauce that I create and put on other burgers and steak sandwiches, my friend also had some put on his Burger it made the burger kick!!! It also went good as a dip for French fries which we used it for. I've been back but I'm...
