Be forwarned, Saltgrass has a new app for paying by credit card when ordering online for curbside pickup. It does not work properly, and Saltgrass, at least this location, will not make it right. They also have a habit of ignoring phone calls.

This evening I ordered from their website two steak salads for curbside pickup. It gave me no option other than medium rare. There was no way possible to change it to medium. I decided to mention in the 'special instructions' field that one was to be medium, the other medium rare. When I clicked the 'submit' tab to place my order, I noticed the 'special instructions' tab went blank. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know my cooking preferences. A nice lady answered the phone. After explaining what happened, she told me she would transfer me to the bar tender who handles 'to go' orders. I was placed on hold with pleasant music. I remained on hold for an extended period of time. The longer I was on hold, the more it bothered me that I had no way to communicate my preferences, all the while suspecting they were preparing my order wrong. After I was on hold more than 20 minutes, I drove to the restaurant to ask for a refund. I arrived at the restaurant, still on hold for almost 30 minutes. I walked in and asked to speak with the manager. The General Manager Steven DeLeo happened to be at the front lobby reception area when I walked in. The phone was still ringing at the bar, the bar tender ignoring it completely. I explained my situation. I told Steven I wanted a refund because they ignored my phone call, and my steak was not cooked the way we wanted. He left me in the lobby for a few minutes. He came back with a bag of food. He explained he had the cook place the steak back on the grill to 'bring it up to proper temperature' even though I told him I did not want the food anymore. I wanted a refund. Cooking steak whole, then slicing it produces better results than cooking it whole, slicing it, then cooking it again. Steven told me the credit card app on their site is new. He said the app would not allow him to refund my credit card, but gave me his business card and said 'the next steak salads are free'. I am not comfortable asking for anything for free. I wanted a refund for my order that was not prepared properly due to their own employees ignoring the phone. I do not feel comfortable asking for a free meal in the future. Steven basically talked me into taking the recooked steak salad, since he refused any refund. The phone was still ringing at the bar when I left, almost 45 minutes after I was put on hold. I hung up before walking out. When I got home with the salads, I found the salads completely dry. There was no salad dressing whatsoever on either one. They are supposed to have a vinaigrette. The medium steak was tough like it had been microwaved. The salad on the right was stirred. On the left was as received. The salad ingredients seemed fresh, but the lack of dressing ruined it. I wish I had pictures of the steak. The medium rare was ok. The recooked medium was nasty.

Long story short, do not order online for curbside pickup from this location if you like to receive what you ask for and expect it to be right. If there is any problem, they will ignore your attempts to correct it, and deny any refunds to...

We went here on 1/4/25 @ 430 p table 50/1. Our Jessica waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu. My brother in law chose this location for his birthday dinner. Everything was going well until he found a long piece of hair 🤢 in the bread 🥖 😳! We quickly reported it to Jessica our waitress, and she reported it to the manager.. This is where it all went downhill 😑😬as if it could get worse from there the manager made us wait over 20 minutes to arrive at our table to discuss the issue. 🤔😑Once he arrived. He tried to minimize the situation by ignoring the fact that he even saw the hair in the bread, once it was established that he actually saw the hair in the bread and that was our major concern. He initially offered a free dessert which was not our reason for bringing this to his attention. Main reason was this was a health risk, to offer free dessert which we did not want because we had already paid our bill was irresponsible on his . The manager proceeded to have a very nasty attitude with us, as if it was our fault, 😑😧 was passive aggressive in his apology, and finally offered to deduct my brother-in-law‘s meal off the ticket. Once again our goal was not to have a deduction, but to have a sincere apology from management and to bring it to his attention in regard to the health hazard. Please note my brother-in-law‘s meal was also taken away prematurely before he was able to finish his birthday meal. Shame on you Saltgrass for having a manager who does not care about your customers health. This managers attitude and lack of professionalism was inexcusable how he has no regard for the customers satisfaction my brother in law has been a part of the Landry Birthday club since 2009! And this is the treatment he gets for being a loyal customer!! I’m appalled 😳 once again on how dismissive the manager was… mistakes happen just own up to it and...

4 stars may be a little generous. I've only been here a few times and this visit was not our best. We arrived about 430pm on Saturday. There was no wait at the time, but the restaurant was nearly full. From the time we were seated until we left, the service was slow. It was a good ten minutes before our waitress approached us and asked for our beverage and appetizer order. Before the appetizer came, the waitress asked if we would like to go ahead and order. I said, no, we want a little time with our drink and appetizer, which was skillet queso fresco. When it finally arrived, it was very good and we were glad we chose it. I had received an email good for an appetizer up to $9.99 . Our waitress did not know how to apply the coupon and said she would get a manager to come take care of it. A manager never came. From there we ordered the entree. I ordered the small filet and my husband ordered the tbone. We both opted for the caesar salad, and fried onions with an extra side of french fries to share. My filet was tender but didn't have much flavor, despite the large pat of butter on top. The fried onion straws were plentiful and tasty but they were almost cold. The salad was very plain, just a lot of wilted green romaine, a little bit of cheese and the dressing. No other garnish, not even croutons. When we were ready to pay, we had to remind the waitress about the appetizer coupon. She did take it off, but I was still surprised at our bill total. Overall, I think the food and service was average but the price was not. It's going to be a very long time before I consider going there...

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a classic American-style steak, Saltgrass Steak House is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant has a cozy, spacious Western-style vibe that’s perfect for family gatherings or hanging out with friends. The steaks here are cooked to perfection – just as requested, tender, juicy, and full of natural flavor. I ordered the Ribeye Medium Rare – super juicy, beautifully seared on the outside, and deliciously smoky. The sides like the baked potato and house salad were also great and complemented the meal well without being too heavy. The staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive. I went on a weekend when it was quite crowded, but service was still fast and smooth. The server even offered personalized recommendations based on my taste – it felt like they really cared. Not the cheapest place, but absolutely worth the quality. Steaks range from $25 to $45 depending on the cut, and the portions are generous – perfect for sharing if you’re not too hungry. Saltgrass Steak House is a great choice if you’re craving high-quality grilled meat in a comfortable setting with great service. I’ll definitely be back!
