The only reason for four stars is the price. $479 is more than should be charged for this hotel. While brand new , great location. This hotel is not in the same category as a Conrad or Ritz Carlton. I understand all hotels in this area are very pricey during this time of year due to a perceived Fall foliage season, however the leaves are quite green for now. Luckily we had points and were able to receive the room at no cost. As for the hotel , staff was great. Parking is conveniently located adjacent to the hotel. They do offer a shuttle to dining and entertainment close by. There is a rooftop bar, and thankfully the manager on duty moved our 5th room floor to a lower level with the assumption we did not want to hear the music from the 6th floor, I was great full for that. Our stay was uneventful. We had breakfast at the restaurant using the $10 / per adult credit for what used to be a free breakfast for elite Hilton Diamond Members . The formally free breakfast now cost $42 total with tip, after the $20 credit was applied. Hilton , if you are listening I am not a fan of this new policy. I would stay here again using points , but I could not justify the $479 / night price tags if I were paying cash.

*Room & shower should've been cleaner for $300 a night. *We felt very itchy in bed after showers *sink didn't drain properly * I was only provided 1 extra bath towel & hand towel eventhough I requested 2 of each when booked. *the pillows were down feathers and went flat even when doubled up *Time on microwave was SO bright and lit up the whole room at night & couldn't be turned off *Tossed and turned as the AC wasn't working right. Finally at 2am I turned it off then on and finally worked *Our room was first out from the elevator so hearing ding all night was not great and dogs barking bc A LOT of people had small yappy dogs with them which we heard often *revving cars & firetrucks to lull you sleep *Breakfast was not good, wish I hadn't of included it when I booked I mean unless you like burnt black toast, overly peppered eggs and soggy fruit (even though I asked if it was fresh) & service was slow. Just overall disappointed in the stay for the money but it served its purpose & was in a great walking location.

Had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Asheville. Staff was extremely kind and gave us our preference of corner king sized bed room with a view. Also gave us two free glasses of wine upon check in. The room had a large walk in shower with nice bath products, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, free water bottles, big bay windows, soft sheets, and a flat screen TV. Parking was only 10 dollars but we got a spot right by the door and we didn’t mind paying for that peace of mind. Best part of all was their FREE shuttle service. Eric, our driver, drove us in the rain and snow to any bars and restaurants we wanted in the downtown area. That alone paid for the cost of parking our car. It was so nice not to have to worry about calling an Uber. You just call the front desk and book your pickup time and they will be waiting for you in the lobby! Housekeeping was very thorough and made sure to clean up our room very well.

The only reason I am giving this hotel a 1 is the fact that the hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Monday. Had I know about this I would have book at the Hilton Garden Inn South, which has a bar that’s ope 7 days a week. My rate was only $4 different and I chose the downtown local specifically for the rooftop bar! I was told at check in this was denoted on the website. I booked through the Hilton App and there really isn’t info on the app. I was told they are closed Sunday and Monday because of staffing issues. I get it, but wish I would have known in advance. There is a Hilton Garden Inn Promise in my room. I did let Stephanie at the front desk know I was upset but was only told sorry. Aside from no restaurant and no bar open, forcing me to leave the property to eat, the hotel is very nice.

I've been coming here for years for work, and I've never been disappointed. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Asheville, is pet friendly, and has 2 restaurants onsite. They have a rooftop bar, which is great to watch the sunsets. For those who are active, they have a pool and a very large fitness studio. Parking is also very easy. An all around great hotel!

It’s a Hilton. The beds are comfortable and has good amenities. The location is walkable for shopping and dining.
