Alright, first things first, walking in wow. The setup is beautiful in this place. There are different sections of seating. Once you're seated, they explain to you about the salad bar, and dinner sides are in the center of the room and is self serve. Large variety of things to put on salads. If you walk around to the other side of the salad bar, there is different pasta salads. The back side is where they have the sides to go with dinner. They then bring all the different meats 1 to 3 types at a time. They give you tiny tongs to hold onto the top of the meat as they cut slices. Variety of meats are served. When you need to pause on meat while you are trying to eat what you already have on your plate you will flip a little round circle that sort of looks like a coaster from green to the backside which is red. Once you are ready for more, just flip back to green. One of my favorite things they brought out was the seared pineapple that has cinnamon sugar crusted on the outside.
Honestly the only thing I have to say bad about the place, which is very minor would be i didnt like how salty some of the meat was. But that is honestly preference.
Yes, they have a bar of: beer, wine, margaritas, sangria, different types of coffee with alcohol ect.
Parking on the street is free starting at 6. If you get there at 5, you will have to pay for the hour.
Wheel chair acces yes
My husband and I didn't have to wait we got there right when they opened. Im sure if you later in the evening or on special occasions like Mother's Day or Fathers Day, there might be a wait.
My husband and i felt very comfortable there. Staff was very friendly and we loved our waiter.
The one thing I would recommend is do not eat after 12 pm. There will be sooo much food and an empty stomach would be better. We had a snack a few hours before, and we didn't get through all the meats.
We paid around $122 for two of us. Is it on the expensive side, yes, but I would definitely recommend this place.
I look forward...
Read moreSummary: If you’re new - enjoy it. If you’ve been to other similar places, very disappointing.
Parking: There is no parking lot. You need to find street parking.
Service: they have servers and waitresses. The servers are quick and friendly and always ready to bring you what you ask for. Waitress brings you drinks and leaves you alone.
Food: it’s a service style buffet. You can go to the salad bar - which isn’t flavorful or high quality.
The meat (the main course I guess) is very very very lacking. You can tell the beef is select grade. Also some of the meat has that “sat-in-the-fridge-too-long” taste.
All the meat is cooked well done so it’s tough. When they - randomly - bring out a cut that is medium, then it is ok. If you look at the picture called garlic sirloin, the white stuff isn’t fat; that is garlic paste rubbed on after they cooked the meat.
I got a filet, which tends to be one of the most tender and flavorful pieces of meat. If you look at the picture you will see how gray and tough it looks. The flank steak was hard (not crispy but hard) and tasted old. The pichana (the staple of a proper Brazilian steak house) literally tasted like the lowest quality meat they could find.
The best thing they had was the lamb chops and their sausage. Everything else was a huge disappointment.
If you’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses, don’t waste your money here. Instead invest in the time and go to the one in pigeonforge, TN called Gaucho urbano; that place is worth the money. Just don’t go to Pigeonforge after 7pm - that’s when the drunks and methies come out.
No I’m not a paid shill, I’m a fat man that enjoys good food and hates wasting money.
Overall:
If it is your first time eating at a Brazilian steak house, this is an ok introduction. If it’s not your first time, Skip it.
I only gave it 3 stars cause of the friendliness of the people and the building (that is really pretty).
Thank you...
Read moreBrasilia Churrasco Steakhouse is decent in its own right. However, when compared to other Brazilian style steakhouses, the overall experience leaves a bit to be desired.
At $49.00 a head, it includes a salad bar with an assortment of offerings, and unlimited freshly cooked meat. That in itself sounds like a decent deal as long as you are hungry and are willing to drop the cash.
Though the salad bar during our trip was freshly stocked and the offerings were fresh, the same couldn't be said about the meat selection. This is not to say it was a terrible experience, but the description was medium-rare meat and if you wish for it to be cooked more, you simply need to request it.
Nothing that was brought to the table during our trip was medium rare. The majority of the meat presented was medium to medium well. This might not seem like a big difference, but when you are accustomed to high-quality medium-rare fillets, strip steaks, ribeyes, etc. from years of being part of the food service experience at high-end restaurants, you can most definitely spot the difference and the experience of the meal is changed for those that do prefer actual medium rare meat.
The non-beef offerings were a let down as well. Parmesan garlic pork, and the bone-in rack of lamb were both over done and gamey to say the least, especially the lamb.
The Gauchos were pleasant and generous with their cuts and the server did well, minutes a 20 minute wait for a water fill up for one of our guests
All in all, I'm neither for, nor against Brasilia Churrasco Steakhouse after this visit, but I wouldn't actively seek dinner here unless someone is...
