Bay Park Square Mall Review
Bay Park Square is one of those malls that feels like it’s holding on to a different era — and maybe just barely. Walking through its quiet halls on a low-traffic day, it’s hard not to notice how many stores have shuttered, replaced by empty storefronts or temporary pop-ups. It’s got that echo-y, slightly nostalgic vibe, like you’ve stepped into the set of a ’90s teen movie that never quite ended.
Foot traffic was sparse — you could practically hear a pin drop — which makes sense in the age of Amazon and same-day delivery. It feels like most people have traded in their weekend window shopping for scrolling online in their pajamas. Still, the place isn’t completely without life. The theater was surprisingly full, reminding you that some experiences (like seeing a movie on the big screen with popcorn in hand) still pull people in.
There’s a kind of charm here if you squint a little — maybe it’s the ghosts of retail past or the quiet comfort of a place that hasn’t totally given up. But if Bay Park Square wants to stay relevant, it might need more than nostalgia to bring the crowds back.

Read moreIt's a theater, we went for a 1:00pm showing on Tuesday. We had ordered tickets online, which was an easy process. Lobby was clean, and there was a short line for snacks. I got bottled water and the free bag of popcorn which is included with your ticket on Tuesdays. Theater was clean. The theater has lounge chairs, which were very comfortable. I liked having the option to move my chair up/down for the perfect movie-watching position. It felt very comfortable to be sitting with my feet up, rather than the old stiff theater-style chair. I enjoyed watching the previews, and there were not too many extra commercials included before the movie started. Movie was great! We usually stay to watch the credits. I did NOT feel rushed to leave the theater. The cleaning staff waited for the credits to finish before they started cleaning the theater, which I appreciated. I am rating 4 stars, because there was a weird problem with the soap dispensers in the bathroom. The counter had a huge amount of soap under...
Read moreThis rating is way too high lol , the place has a horrible piss smell and bathrooms are at condemned level with no toiletime paper and no one flushes. Parking is ok but bus doesn't go to the front door and no walkways to outside stores or parking lots , they don't even plow the snow out in winter. Ugly yucky lighting like a basement and awful confined feeling ceiling . Very narrow walkways in mall and they allow customers to take full sized shopping carts from shopko and put their children in , that just seems like a safety issue when you can't get past them . Most people bring their loud kids here and hog the food court chairs and every chair and never buy anything . Loud smelly obnoxious mall , very stupid expensive stores like express and new York and company . Very dirty and I get a cold everytime I come here . Employees are always in a crabby mood and they never get the new items .locals use up the WiFi and...
