On July 2-3 2021, I repainted the Parking Lot Stripes for this business. The Manager told me she would pay me at the end of the day from store reciepts when the job was completed. On the second day, the Manager told me the Franchise told her I would have to submit a written Bill (No Problem), and fill out a W-9 as I am an independent Contractor. I was told the Franchise would cut me a check in about a week. FOUR WEEKS have passed. I have gotten a huge song and dance of 'these thigns can take up to three weeks to process", You're a new vendor so it might take longer", and a number of other excuses. During all of this I have had several conversations with the area Manager in Eugene about my situation. Finally on July 30th-STILL NOT HAVING BEEN PAID-I left a voice Mail for the area Manager, explaining that If I am not paid, I will go to the Oregon Attorney General's Office, and will file a Theft of Services complaint against the Franchise. Minutes later the Area Manager texted me back telling me she "Would not be threatened or harassed in any way". Explaining to someone that I am preparing to file a legal action is NOT Threatening", NOR is it "Harassing". I am simply stating the fact that I intend to proceed according to information currently available to me. I immediately called KFC Customer Care and filed a formal Complaint against the Area Manager for sending me that Text. Aug 1st: Today I stopped in at the Astoria KFC for Lunch. The Assistant Manager informed me that the area Manager called her this morning with orders that I am no longer to be served n that Restaurant. Is THIS how KFC Treats its Vendors AND its Customers?! Tey Authorized me to do a job. I DID the Job. I asked to be Paid. I have not been Paid. I complain to the area manager. Area Manager makes a false accusation about me TO me-I have the text to PROVE it. I complain to Customer care regarding Area Manager's unprofessional conduct. Area Manager PERSONALLY retaliates by trespassing me from the restaurant. And, I HAVE STILL NOT BEEN PAID FOR MY WORK!
I AM TELLING EVERYONE WHO WILL LISTEN THAT THIS IS HOW KFC...
Read moreDecided to stop in since KFC was close to the hotel we were staying. Our group chose the old family favorite, a bucket of chicken, both extra crispy and regular along with coleslaw, fries, and mashed potatoes with gravy. We noticed immediately that the restaurant was dirty and front windows mildewed from lack of maintenance. The order taker was nice except she did not ask if we were eating in or takeout. After our order, we sat at a booth. The booth cushions were ripped and badly patched similar to most booths. Our food was ready 5 minutes later, and gravy, plates, and sporks were missing. This caused us to get up and ask for them. When eating the meal, we noticed that the chicken was not as crispy as before, and spices were not as flavorful, which made the chicken taste bland. The mashed potatoes were similar as remembered, but the gravy was also lacking flavor. The fries had changed from home fries to French fries with a coating, which was an improvement. The coleslaw was the same as remembered and tasty. The Pepsi drinks were limited. Pricing is above market at almost 50 bucks...
Read moreThe service here is awesome, and the chicken is always fresh. Best kfc by far in standards and customer care. Though I had to update it as to what used to make me come in once a week, to when a deal on chicken is going on. My complaint is this place used to have the best sweet tea I have ever had. (sorry auntie B) but it's almost like one day they just stopped making it. Though it might be national because every kfc I go to doesn't have it any longer. Can get half gallons of soda but that's not what I crave when biting into the carnals' original recipe drumstick. Love the restaurant the employees are awesome the food is perfectly priced for meat now days, but man I could go for some of their home brew sweet tea, but just like the McDonald's shamrock shake it to left the taste buds memories comparible to ambrosia. Nectar meant only...
