Would give negative 100 starts if I could.
Absolutely horrible. I sat in the Greyhound station over 13 hours waiting for my bus (I was supposed to be there 45 minutes) the bathrooms were covered in feces & completely unusable (I took pictures).(oh & these pictures were taken when I 1st got there by the end of the 13 hours I wouldn't even walk in there every stall looked like someone had put there butt up to the wall & just let it rip think a hippo š¦ when they poop I've NEVER seen anything like it in my life Ive been in cleaner port a pottys) Not once in 13 hours did anyone clean them. They gave no updates people were begging for any word. Customer service via phone & in person is completely useless they won't give you any info. The bus tracker also won't give you any info (the bus tracker never showed anything then when they finally cancel the bus I check it & it's lying it says we're on the bus moving it's not reliable or even correct it's exactly the same as customer service in person useless you get no info , get a complete run around, or the completely wrong info to the point you wonder like this has to be intentional that it's this bad) . It was 13 hours before they finally cancelled the bus. I had to have someone drive over 3 hours to get me. When your entitled to a refund they keep trying to push these useless vouchers off on you. Once they have your money that's it expect no help, no consideration, & no basic amenities. The staff at Atlanta are beyond unprofessional, rude, hostile, & incompetent. People had been sitting there for 2 days starving they won't offer food vouchers even though they are the reason you've been there that long you can't leave to grab anything because you never know when the bus will show up. I watched a man have a seizure and bust his head open bleeding everywhere. I saw a diabetic almost collapse from no food. It's quite honestly shocking nobody has died or been seriously injured from the complete neglegence. If I can give you just one piece of advice BUY A PLANE TICKET. DO NOT TAKE GREYHOUND. if you have to then prepare yourself it's like stepping into a dumpster. Actually I think a dumpster is cleaner. šThere policy clearly states if the bus is over 120 minutes late YOU'RE ENTITLED TO A REFUND. That policy is legally binding and you're not supposed to have to jump through any hoops. They'll try to push that voucher off on you don't give up or back down. I raised hell over a week and a half calling every day & emailing but I got my money back & refunds have went smoothly since then. I'm not playing with these people the conditions they keep us in I do not feel bad at all a refund is the least you can do. We pay y'all to be treated like trash
EDIT : unfortunately had to take Greyhound again I don't know how this place is still in business the driver down was the most hateful woman like this has to be the only place that would hire her to work with the public. The photos of people sleeping outside that's the "Wildwood GA" bus stop at Billy's truck stop. It's not like this is charity your paying for these tickets to be left in the middle of nowhere sleeping outside that poor woman had a towel as a blanket. At what other establishment is that acceptable? To just leave people outside in the middle of nowhere I mean seriously there's nothing there but that gas station & a dollar store. Your to far to Uber. Thank God the driver on my return trip was awesome (and obviously new) he seemed quite shocked at the treatment & lack of any accountability or accomodations. They overbooked the bus so why should you have to sit half a day outside ? They're the worst when it comes to refunds just keep pushing those worthless vouchers. I honestly don't think they can afford to do refunds with how many they'd have to do Greyhound is sinking fast (hmmm wonder why you treat your customers horribly, you treat your own employees horribly, you put your customers in appalling dangerous conditions)THAT WE PAID FOR. Look bottom line if you can get a plane āļø ticket or really any other way...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first saw all the negative reviews for this bus station, I just brushed them off and thought it really couldnāt be all that bad. Iāve used Megabus and Greyhound a number of times, and sure, itās not the highest quality service and some of the stations are sketchy, but itās cheaper than flying and gets me where I need to go! This station gets the award for worst service ever. There is no signage lettting people know where to check bags and absolute chaos rules here. Tons of people crowded in a hot little space. I got to the station 45 mins before my scheduled departure time. There were two lines formed for bag check - one leading to ticketing and one leading to customer service. Customer service was checking bags because ticketing only had 2 agents behind the desk and a couple hundred people waiting around. I waited in line for 30 mins before I finally got up to the customer service counter. She took my ticket and checked my first bag, then looked at my second carry-on size suitcase (which I knew I needed to pay as an extra bag) and said, āOh we canāt take payment for the second bag here. You have to go stand in that other line at ticketing.ā By this time I had 15 mins to go and the other line was almost as long as the one I had just stood in. I tried to explain that Iād been waiting for a half hour and there were no signs saying where to pay and my bus was leaving soon. But they couldnāt budge. I understand that they have a policy. But they need to let customers know exactly where to go beforehand so that there isnāt so much chaos. I go wait in the other line. I finally make it to the front of the line with 7 minutes to spare. And the two tickets agents are now dealing with 2 people who missed their bus and are trying to rebook (keep in mind that itās the holidays so thereās no available spots on upcoming buses). Iām starting to freak out inside because even though I arrived 45 mins early, Iām now about to miss my bus because of the chaos at the station. Everyone has gone outside to board the bus and itās down to 1 minute until the bus leaves. One of the customers at the ticket counter walks away to go resolve an issue outside with the staff. I quickly say to the agent, āIāve been waiting in 2 lines for 45 mins now. My bus leaves in 1 min. They sent me from the other counter over here.ā She said that she couldnāt help me until she resolved things with the other customer who wasnāt even at the counter at the moment. At that point, I couldnāt hold back the tears because this was my only way to Chattanooga. I didnāt have another way to get there without paying an arm and a leg. I had done everything I was supposed to. The ticket said to show up 20 mins before the bus leaves. I showed up 45 mins before. I waited my turn in line and the staff was so limited they couldnāt help. I ran out to the bus as it was supposed to be leaving, trying to wipe the tears away from my eyes and explained the situation to the lady loading the bus. The only reason this review even had a star attached to it is because she was understanding and told me to fit the smaller rolling suitcase on the bus with me. And she gave me a hug and told me it would be okay. I love that lady, whoever she was! But as for the rest of the experience, it deserves a negative star. Honestly, the whole station could be improved by just having clear signage for customers, making the space bigger, putting some A/C in to combat the heat from tons of people, and having more ticket agents to deal...

This is in reference to my bad experience on August 10-12, 2022 traveling on Greyhound Station from Baton Rouge, La to Columbia, South Carolina. Customer Service Representative to whom I talked once arrived to the station was very rude and didn't represent the Greyhound Company well at all at the Atlanta, Ga location. The representativeās details along with the details of the incident are provided in the attached document. I have never had any issues with your bus drivers and services until that incident.
My Reservation Number: 9457272$
Baton Rouge Bus was to depart at 6:55pm Bus arrived late to the station and driver had a really bad attitude upon departure. We left the Baton Rouge Terminal nearly 45 minute later after scheduled Departure Time. Once we got to the New Orleans Terminal we had to wait another 30-45 minutes in which that driver had a nasty attitude with passengers the entire trip to Atlanta, Ga. We arrived to the Atlanta, Ga Terminal an hour late and my bus to Columbia, Sc had already departed. I had to miss my son Family and Friends Day at Fort Jackson for his graduation from Military Boot Camp in which if I would have made to Atlanta, Ga on time I would've made it to the event that day. I had to sit in the terminal in Atlanta for a total of 9.5 hours until the next bus left out. The Atlanta Terminal was the most unorganized Greyhound Station I have ever traveled to over past 15-20 years since I begun traveling via Greyhound. They had people off the street working at the terminal and homeless people in the lobby begging your passenger all day and night. Once the bus finally departed to Columbia the trip was going great for a chance but once I returned to back to Atlanta from Columbia on Thursday around 8:47pm. The night customer service agents advised all passenger department on my bus to line up at Gate F around 11:30 pm. The bus was suppose to depart Atlanta to Baton Rouge, La for 12:20 am on friday morning but the bus never loaded with an passenger upon departure time. At 40 passengers was standing at the appropriate gate waiting to load the bus. An hour passed by then everyone was getting worried about the bus was gonna show up. We was later informed that we had to spend the night in the terminal and get on the 6:55 am the next morning. I spent a total of 21 hours inside the terminal as a passenger with a 3-day travel period. This by far was the service i experienced as a passenger on Greyhound Bus Line. I will never travel to the Atlanta, Ga Terminal lvia Greyhound Bus every again. It was such a waste of $347.98. As a business owner I never experienced such a bad experience while traveling over the road via bus nor airplane. My recommendation is that the Atlanta Bus Terminal get trained and qualified employees to help provide better customer service to the passenger that will be using Greyhound as means of travel in the near future. Once again this was the worse $347.98 experience I ever had to experience via customer service. I do not wish to use my right to pursue legal action against your company because I still believe in your commitment to serving your customers excellently. I expect that you will be keen and prompt on...
