I have not been inside of this bus station in almost ten years, but oh how things have changed and not in a good way. They now only have one customer service counter with one agent. The waiting area was full on a Sunday and overrun outside by homeless people. The security is not a big help with moving the homeless to the other side of the road so that passengers can get inside the station or to their buses. The customer service line was extremely long with the passengers being irate at the wait time for assistance. Getting assistance through the app or the 800 number is not any better. The only good thing is you only need your QR code or your name to board your bus. I did not know that Greyhound has partnered with or bought out by Flixbus. The bus that I traveled on from Atlanta's Forsythe St location to Valdosta Ga was Flixbus. My ticket price was $45 but I upgraded to a premium seat that changed the ticket price to almost $90. The premium seat gives you an additional seat for comfortability. I took a 9:15pm bus and part way through my trip I found out the bus was infested with roaches! They were crawling on the floor, between the seats, and on top of the seats. What I don't understand is how the driver did not notice. My aggravation level was already at an all time high from how difficult it was to change the dates on my ticket. OMG! I had to cancel my ticket which they deducted 25.99 cancellation fee plus 4.99 for premium seat. Then get a voucher for the remaining balance then rebook plus pay more because I did not get a full refund...that is so strange to me. It should be easy to just change the dates instead of cancelling. I guess this way they get paid twice for the same trip. This was a horrible experience and after reporting my experience I have not heard back from Greyhound or Flixbus. Please be careful of your surroundings at the Forsythe St location and make sure your dates are correct because you will not get a refund and thoroughly check your...
Read moreATlanta Station was clean. Different of how it is now that's in A new building. I'm A Disabled/Senior and the Agent gave a returning ticket with the wrong returning date. I didn't notice this until after I left.. Called customer service and instead of just changing the date on the ticket, I had to pay for another ticket, because tickets are non refundable ( not stated on ticket no where), and wasn't able to speak with a supervisor after trying 3x( due to them being on another call)and have to contact Customer Service on the website to get my money back. Then when you contact them they want to give you a voucher. Instead of your cash money back. I would have been just satisfied with changing the date, especially since the agent made the mistake, not me. I very disappointed in Greyhound in how I was treated. I'm only going back on Greyhound ,because there is no other bus I can catch coming from Uvalda. Ga. It's bad enough I have to get off in Macon. GA. to go to Uvalda and someone has to pick me up to drive for another two hour drive to arrive at my distanation. I will not be riding Greyhound anymore. I don't know how I'll get to see my family. since no other busses go that way. I will not recommend them to my family. Friends, or anyone else!! Then they have the nerves to say "Their Customers and Employees are their main concern." I don't feel that way. They didn't try to help me at all. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RIDE GREYHOUND BUS, AFTER I...
Read moreOnly book if getting to your destination is OPTIONAL and you have ample time and money to waste. I wish I could leave zero stars. Booked a trip that was supposed to leave at 12:30am, bus never showed and no employee knows where it was. I guess the buses don’t have trackers and employees don’t have cell phones. At about 1:30am they said it would be there by 2:30am. Nothing. It got delayed till 3am. 3am comes, nothing. So it gets delayed AGAIN until 7AM. See pictures below. SO I guess if you don’t live in the city you’re supposed to sleep at the station? Or walk to the strip club across the street? They’re probably in on it. And the bus STILL doesn’t show up until 7:34AM. This is a bus from Atlanta to Saint Louis, MO with several stops between, 18 hours total. When the bus gets to Memphis, TN at about 5pm we are told our second bus had been canceled and won’t be there until 8:30AM TOMORROW. Why on God’s green earth would they let ppl get on the first bus knowing the second bus was canceled? Does that make sense? Leaving people stranded for an entire extra night?? Not only is that incredibly irresponsible, but it’s DANGEROUS. If you are a woman, DO NOT EVER TRAVEL USING GREYHOUND BY YOURSELF. THEY WILL HAVE YOU WAITING ALL NIGHT IN A RANDOM LOCATION WITH ZERO REGARD OR REMORSE. You might as well just hitchhike or walk. It’ll take the same as amount of...
