I came here with a group of 10 a few months ago and had an amazing time. But the owners are not accommodating to large groups. PRO TIP: if you want an event for more than 15 people - make separate reservations groups of ~10 ahead of time. You can commingle once there.

We were hosting an event for 25 people (planned months in advance). Per website, $10/hour/person. But if you tell them all 25 people are together, they will gauge you. We ended up paying $250/hour for their “room rental rate” - and ALL being in the same exact room that 10 of us enjoyed. Per website, this large room is for 16-20 ppl “depending on how much you love each other.” In other words - it’s a real tight fit. So why did a group of 25 get forced into this small room, only to result in half the group not being able to participate? (i.e they literally didn’t fit in the room and we took turns standing in the hallway)

We asked several times for two smaller rooms throughout the booking process - but they wanted even more money for that! There was no negotiating the logic of “if we are paying for 25 people, shouldn’t we have space for 25 people in the room(s) we’re renting”?

They knew this was an engagement party to celebrate a destined bride and groom. It was quite a bummer for what should have been such a special night - the first time our bridesmaids and groomsmen got to meet each other!

It would have been much easier and much more enjoyable if we booked as a party of 10 and a party of 15 separately, and gotten two rooms. Their “special rates” for large parties are not special at all. Just stay under the 20-person limit and quietly book through the quirky text system - you’ll save money and have a better time.

Alas, as much as I like small local businesses, I felt the owners had no interest in making our night special- they just wanted to cram us in one space, charge for the headcount even though the headcount couldn’t participate, and rent more rooms to others. Back to Buford...

So it was my first time doing karaoke in a private room I was very excited my friends and i booked a room; its bring your own everything so we got food & drinks . we showed up a bit later then our original check in time was was 8:30 traffic was horrible we arrived around 9:15, we were welcomed shown to our room, the room was very nice has light controls shown how to use the ipad for music ( you can use youtube to search songs not on list ) so as i music lover i was in love with that option; Some of our friends came in later and i felt the Guy was pretty hostile towards them and he asked them for a payment not sure what that was about, he asked if we wanted more time in the room we were indecisive, but decided yea ( it was 11) The guy was pressuring us telling us to hurry up or he needed us out because the room could to be booked i understood but we were all just trying to see what we wanted to do ; when we decided it was time to leave he was very hostile and aggressive about us leaving because we asked for more time ? which okay i understood but we paid ? so just book it again lol, my friend tipped him $40! and he proceeded to come in and ask “ are you guys gonna tip me “ insane !! and my friends paid an extra hundred dollars on top of the $140+40 tip +100 for God knows what , and then after we said we were leaving he was still asking if we were leaving !! i was honestly just disappointed in his behavior i felt he was cool at first but idk why he...
