This place is a stemming pile of crap. There is a super high crime rate, an unresponsive police force, gunshots nightly, not to mention all the homeless camps on every block. The city does nothing to clean up their parks, they have overflowing, trash cans, homeless gatherings with drug use and more trash. Panhandling at every major intersection, with some pretty insistent panhandlers. The city will site and fine you for having propane tanks attached to your camper, which is lawfully stored on the side of your house, but they can’t keep a safe and clean city. They are hypocrites and have no regard for the safety and happiness of their citizens. This place is a joke all the way through their justice system. I reported the residents of 980 Nile Street 3 times for setting off illegal fireworks and nearly setting surrounding properties on fire when one exploded, sending sparks to surrounding houses.
