I recently placed an online order at this Einstein Bros. Bagels location, taking advantage of their promotion for a free bagel with online pickup orders. However, when I picked up my order and checked it in my car, the free bagel was missing.
When I returned to the store to clarify, I was immediately met with avoidance. Two teenage male employees saw me approaching and said, “Uh oh,” before turning away, clearly uninterested in addressing the issue. As I attempted to explain my concern, one of them asked me to repeat it, only for both to walk away mid-conversation. They looked at me with the coldest, most uninterested expressions, as if I was a nuisance rather than a paying customer with a valid concern.
Then, a female employee, whose name sounded like “Candida,” came over. Instead of checking their system or offering a solution, she immediately dismissed my concern, telling me to “call online” because the order was placed through their website and was “out of their control.” This explanation made no sense—any competent establishment would verify the order details rather than deflect responsibility. She kept insisting that the online system was a separate provider, completely unwilling to assist in any way.
As I left, I noticed the staff whispering and glancing at me, as if I was a joke. This was beyond disappointing. The lack of basic customer service, professionalism, and accountability at this location is appalling. Instead of listening and problem-solving, the staff was defensive, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping a customer.

Read moreI will NEVER order from this location again. The service was deplorable! I work for a local business in the area, and we ordered 12 bagel sandwiches for our team on the website. The order went through fine. Then it was cancelled I believe by an employee at the store as they didn’t want to process the large order not only was the order cancelled, but the account was also charged twice. My colleague tried to order again online and now the site doesn’t work and reflects an almost $200.00 credit for the double billing. She then had to request a refund on the site, AND NOW HAS TO WAIT FOR A REFUND TO BE PROCESSED. We then called in the order and the employee who answered the phone was rude and asked if we tried placing the order online which we did, hence why I think they canceled it. She then took the order over the phone and didn’t confirm anything, and we had to pay a 3rd time. However, the deplorable service doesn’t stop there. Read moreI am a frequent customer of Einstein Bagels. This was my first time at this specific location. I am beyond dissapointed at their quality of baggels and their management. I paid over $40 to receive stale baggels. I placed a to go order and I drove off on my way out of town. On the way we started to take a bite of the baggels and found they were stale. Definitely not fresh ones!! I called the location I purchased the baggels because It was very upsetting to pay for something that was not fresh and hard. I spoke to the manager and told him and he denied selling old baggels. He stated they were made same day. I told him I purchase these frequently and can tell when they are not fresh. The manager wanted me to drive back so he can see them. Like really!! What will seeing them do? You need to take a bite and try it!!!! He did not once offered me an apology nor a refund all he wanted is for me to drive back so he can see them.
