I recently discovered an Ethiopian ice cream and coffee place, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town! This unique café offers an exceptional blend of rich Ethiopian coffee and delectable ice cream, with their affogato being the star of the show.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance. The decor is charming, with a mix of traditional Ethiopian elements and modern touches that create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their passion for Ethiopian coffee and ice cream.

The affogato here is a must-try. The combination of their bold, aromatic Ethiopian espresso poured over creamy, house-made ice cream is simply divine. The balance of flavors is perfect, with the robust coffee complementing the sweet, velvety ice cream beautifully. Perfect affogato! Mildly expensive but not crazy, and well worth it (latte: 4.75, affogato: 8.50- im not sure if that's one or two scoops, but it was plenty sufficient). Espresso drinks relatively cheap (the espresso doesn't TASTE cheap; it's strong, nutty, well rounded; more soft than bitter, but not weak).

Got mine with blueberry lavender gelato, soooo good. Well crafted (some places, the whole thing is a puddle when they hand it to you). Location has three tables and a few plugs (bathroom within building). Big screen playing videos of baristas making layered drinks all day, fun to watch. Employee was super polite and made a great product....

Came in around 9 this morning to get a macchiato. Probably one of the best macchiatos I’ve had, and I’ve had many. Not too much milk like most places do, just enough to take the edge off but you can still taste the espresso. I wish I had gotten her name but there was just one other girl working and it looked like she was tidying up when I came in. She was super nice, and washed her hands before making it which may seem like kind of a bizarre thing to comment on (especially in these “After times”) but I’m sure lots of others wouldn’t have bothered.
