Coco Coquette — Attraction in Austin

My favorite store in Austin, hands down. The owner, Allyson, offers a real gift to this city with this venue. Any time I want to add a little magic to my life, I stop by Coco for a new wig and makeup appointment. Her wigs are beautifully created and very high quality, with many custom wigs and head dresses created by Allyson herself. Her makeup artists are always on point, and they adore her and it seems like you’re in a family when hanging in Coco. There are always such a wide array of customers in the store, whether it be a group of ladies looking for some group fun, someone looking for a wig after a recent cancer diagnosis, young people looking to understand how to put on makeup, etc. Allyson also curates an amazing collection of jewelry, costumes, scents, etc.

Coco Coquette is my go-to for finding that extra sparkle and pizazz I need to make my costume and special event looks really stand out – whether it's the perfect purple lippy, some eye-catching earrings, a fabulous new wig, or a pair of heart-shaped sunnies (I can always count on them to have a killer selection available!) – I always find what I'm looking for at Coco Coquette, and often quite a few treasures I didn't know I needed but surely won't find anywhere else! Plus, the monthly Zodiac Sign parties have been such a blast to attend! I've gotten amazing tarot readings, fascinating workshops, and a birthday bless-up (& special discount!) during my birthday month! PURE MAGIC! Amazing place! They have a large selection of wigs (all synthetic, I believe) in both natural and fun cuts/colors and their staff will help you select what will best suit your needs. They also fit the wig to your head, pinning your hair back and putting on the wig cap for you.

Also, the store has an awesome assortment of bright, loud jewelry, pasties, makeup, and some vintage clothes. Aside from the amazing products, the highlight of Coco Coquette is truly the service. They were so patient with me and gave me all of the information I needed to make my purchases. Highly, highly recommend!

PS: The boutique itself is gorgeous- so worth the photo op.They also do wig parties for bachelorette celebrations and I can totally see how fun...
