This church HAD given me so many precious memories of me and my grama. We always seemed to be in church being that she was in choir,so I loved being with her and hearing her sing.So as a grown up I had my heart set on going every Sunday and thought I was going to get married there but when I went to do my first confession about 4 years ago the father asked me if me and my boyfriend were living together and I said yes ,well I came out crying from the confession room because he was absolutely rude and told me we couldn't get married then. For being a Priest he was cold hearted so we stopped going there and have been going to St Ignatius and have had the blessing of our Priest there and it feels like home. Plus at Christo Rey when we were in Sunday mass , people seem to think it's was a place to talk so loud and made us miss alot of the mass sermon because we couldn't hear the Priest. Another thing that upset me today was I went to get my baptism and communion information so I could start my confirmation classes at St Ignacious so we could get married and the girl in the office said I needed to pay 10.00 for a donation before I get my paperwork. Really I mean it's not alot but after the way the Priest treated me I'm not helping that church that I used to love. It's not the church but the priest that took away the precious memories I used to...

I found the most help in Cristo Rey because the nuns are absolutely wonderful and eager to help if only you ask! Slowly as I find my way through, I am finally warming up to the Priests and am able to greet them making eye contact, even to the point of speaking a little!!! ( This is a huge step from where I've been honestly!) The reasons I left the Church in the beginning have been resolved! I've gained a better understanding of the Trinity, and Our Blessed Mother Virgin Mary! Today I'm excited to attend another class as I'm...
