Two days ago, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the fitting room employees named Latrissia, who works at AventuraMall!!!
I came to the store with my newborn baby and my friend. We went into the family fitting room with my baby and my friend to try on the leggings we came for. I tried on only ONE pair of leggings.
I was already wearing a pair of Alo leggings that I had purchased earlier from your brand. When I was putting my own leggings back on, I noticed that a small sticker tag had come off. But I didn’t pay attention to it because I didn’t need it. The tag simply fell off, and I left it on the floor.
As we were calmly walking to the checkout to pay for the leggings I had tried on, this employee, Latrissia, suddenly ran up to us, became emotional, and called us back to the fitting room. She started questioning us in a very rude and aggressive way, treating me as if I had done something wrong — without any proof!!!
She took the sticker to the manager, continuing to act as if I were guilty. I told them they could check my account, my previous purchases, even the stroller, me, or my friend — whatever they wanted. But if I was right, she (Latricia) should apologize!
The manager checked and confirmed that the sticker was from my previously purchased leggings, the ones I had bought earlier with my own money. When that was confirmed, this employee simply disappeared — she didn’t come back, didn’t say a word, and never apologized.
It was extremely humiliating — everyone in the store was looking at me as if I were a thief, even though I had done absolutely nothing wrong. I am a regular Alo Yoga customer and I truly love this brand. I understand that being attentive is part of her job and her responsibilities, but it all depends on how you communicate this to the customer. You can behave normally and politely say: “We need to check this because we found a sticker.” Or you can approach a customer and immediately accuse them of something they didn’t do, being rude and...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience with Alo Yoga at the Aventura location. The management and hiring practices are simply abysmal. The store hires the worst people, and the manager is exceptionally rude. It’s shocking how someone in a leadership position can treat employees and customers so poorly.
The hiring manager takes forever to process applications and seems to prioritize personal favorites over qualified candidates. It’s clear they only hire people they like, rather than those who would actually contribute positively to the team. There website always says they're hiring, and even with years of experience they refuse to speak to me, even in person!! Alo Yoga presents itself as a luxury brand, but they pay minimum wage and fail to create a supportive work environment. Do not work there...
As for the clothing, they don't live up to the hype. The quality is mediocre at best, and there are much better options out there for the price. I strongly recommend that people avoid supporting this store, especially in Aventura. Save your time and money—there are far better brands that value both their employees and their customers.
