This was our third stay. It was a nightmare. We got there the room was a78 degrees and smelled but we had to leave right away. We had to call the front desk just to get the room cooled down and when we came back it still smelled but we were exhausted and I’m disabled and needed to sleep. We reported it the next morning they said they’d handle it. Nothing was done. We moved the bags in front of the bathroom door (because the management lies and is slimy, not to mention you can’t get a manager past 6pm.) we came back at 649 and room was worse. The bathroook smell had leaked into the bedroom. We called. They never even sent anyone to check - until the third person. Then we were lying and could have a new room. We had to leave again ( we were on the two vacations I leave the house on a year) and the smell had not been addressed. Not manager. When we came back again nothing had been done it was worse. THEN someone tells me they sent many many people up and no one smelled anything. Again nothing has beeen moved in front of the bathroom door. It was another lie. We finally got some w up and he refused to say it didn’t smell and offered another room. I suggested the police be called to have an impartial person decide they said we would be taken care of and it wasn’t necessary so at 1 am we changed rooms. The next day the manger. The one who shook my husbands hand and said everyone’s opinions are different we are repeat customers (3rd stay in less than a 13 months) and that he would give us 15% off. When we checked out we were refused a bill, receipt or the total. We were told they would email it and couldn’t tell us the total it was 0ed out. An hour and a half later the same manager who shook my husbands hand and said he would compensate said everyone went in. That day (after we left) and we were lying. No diacount. Called IGH again (we called them as. They own them the night before) we were promised by case manager Viel we would get that money as it was against policy to check out the way they forced us too, we were scammed and he admitted it was against policy to let us leave without a receipt or total or signature. They refuse now to help. Seniwor case manager “Hank” said, on a recorded line. “We trust and believe our hotels and management over guests”. Even though the hotel didn’t charge us for Hours after we left, waited til we were far enough away to take it back and leave us without a receipt. The original case manger Viel promised we would get it back. They’ve scammed and lied. It’s not just the Staybridge Inn inner harbor, it’s IHG. They don’t care about their customers or their proof or their stay. They want money are are ok with management lying and scamming people. Save yourself money (they charge for everything they can, even ask you not to use their washcloth for makeup, it’s a sign in the bathrooms I swear). They are overly expensive and the management is rude and a liar and the rest of the staff is terrified of him and you can see the look of uncomfortable on their faces. Even the front desk at night agreed we were being treated poorly. I am canceling all future IHG reservations. My husband card was charged without his signature knowledge or anount agreed upon. They are scammers and thieves. Do not give them your money. Pay they extra 20 for the better and...
Read moreI’m pretty certain I did a review previously, but don’t see it anymore. About 9-10 months ago we did a package stay through the National Aquarium website and chose this Hotel. Unfortunately, that was an absolute terrible idea and this Hotel ended up being a nightmare. We were suppose to stay for two nights and booked a king size suite. I called a week or so in advance to verify and double check that it was okay to bring our dog with us. They assured us everything was set and that there would be no issues. We drove up from Hampton Roads, VA. Upon arrival, our first thought was that the Hotel was charming, but when we were checking in, we were informed they only had a queen bed available and not a king. We had drove hours so we took the room. It seemed as though the girl at the front desk had all my personal information incorrect in their system as well, which shocked us since we called the Hotel to verify everything prior to the trip. We were put into a room on the ground floor and it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! The room itself seemed clean enough, but the crowds of people storming the hallway until sunrise was a nightmare! It was like people were coming in from the streets, just crowds of them, having a grand ole time in the hallways and no one did anything about it. They were yelling, running, banging on walls, and hitting our room door. It continued on until a little after 6am. So we got absolutely no sleep and sat up all night. We had communicated everything via email that night to the third party the package deal was made through. They said it is a non refundable purchase since it was advance purchase, but still contacted the Hotel on our behalf to get a refund due to the inconveniences. They spoke to Claudia who informed them that they cannot and will not issue a refund. So because of their own negligence, we were losing our money and sleep? The representative we spoke to informed us to speak with a manager in the morning and if they agree to give a refund, to let her know and she will help refund it. We spoke to Yannika Hines that morning, a manager, who informed us she will put in a ticket and keep us informed. We never heard anything and were given the run around. I got fed up and sent an email, on May 5, to the sales@staybridgebaltimore.com email, even cc’d Yannika and Sherif, still have yet to hear anything… Just because the reservation was made via a third party site and is an advanced non refundable purchase, should not matter when the Hotel is responsible for not putting us into the correct room that we PAID for. That right there should have given us a refund, not to mention it’s the Hotel staff who did nothing about the noise from non-guests as well. This was the absolute worst experience we have ever had in our lives and we highly recommend not wasting your money, time, or sleep with this specific Hotel. The staff do not seem to care for their paying guests...
Read moreI stayed at Staybridge Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor from 27 May to 28 May 2025. I reserved a room for three, and they were able to accommodate my stay. I found it interesting that the front and back exteriors of the hotel were totally different. The front was nice, clean, and presentable. The back of the hotel had a loiterer on the entrance stairs, but it wasn’t too bad. The rear of the hotel is near some strip clubs and nightclubs. Overall, the exterior of the hotel was upkept.||When we arrived at the hotel, there was a valet section where you could park and get your vehicle valet. Their valet times are from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. So, it will be wise to ensure that you return to the hotel during that time, or you will have to park your vehicle on the curb. This can cause unnecessary burden caused by searching and paying for parking. The first night we stayed, we were able to get the vehicle valet. Their second night, we said we had to park on the curb because we could not after the cutoff time.||The interior entrances of the hotel require that you use your key card to enter. I enjoyed this security feature as it only allowed residents of the hotel to enter. They have an intercom system at the entrance to call the hotel desk for entrance if you are checking in. The employee at the front desk was very helpful with getting us checked, and he informed us of the time and location for breakfast in the morning. There was a pantry area that sold drinks, snacks, food, and hygiene products; you are able to purchase items 24 hours a day.||Our room was on the third floor, so we didn’t have far up to go. There are two elevators available to use, and they bring back an old-school feeling. So much so that you would think there is supposed to be an elevator conductor on there. We got to the room, and I was very impressed by the size, cleanliness, amenities, and layout. The room had a full kitchen, microwave, silverware, paper towels, plates, full-size refrigerator, two queen-size beds, a desk, couch, closet, sink area, and iron/iron board. Also, there was a nice-size bathroom with a shower and toilet.||Due to time constraints, I didn’t have the opportunity to try the hotel breakfast. I do know that it smelled delicious as I departed from the hotel each day. The location of the hotel allowed for short walks around the Inner Harbor. Hopefully, if you make reservations at the Staybridge Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor, you take full advantage of the area in which it is located.||This concludes my review of the Staybridge Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor. I hope that this review is helpful to your lodging commendation while in Baltimore. May you have a...
