Went for music in the park. The band was great! The patrons paraded around the band, marching and dancing to the beat. Other spectators dance in place or sat back and enjoyed the music. I was disappointed it ended before 9 as it was advertised to play till 9. Still enjoyed at least 4 songs before they packed it up. Great free community event! There was also an artist painting in the park.

Our kiddos loved the piano in the gazebo and the chance to play in the open air. Lots of benches. Convenient public bathrooms. Metered parking that takes quarters or cards. And ample sized spaces for larger vehicles. Our full size (12 passenger) van had a foot on either side after parking. Well maintained green space. Lots of dogs and pet lovers present. Restaurants and shops on all sides.

Beautiful park. Great meeting place if you’re wandering around downtown with a large group. Also the site of the bus stop for various buses is going into Acadia National Park. There are also a set a very nice, clean bathrooms located here. The park has plenty of benches and interesting things to look at, too. Beautiful! Five stars!

Being from Florida this was a beautiful location to tour/view while visiting Maine. We camped at Bar Harbor KOA and were able to take the trolley into this area. Such a convenient way to travel and see the surrounding area. Our bus stop was right in front of a Fire dept/police dept and restrooms so that was very helpful for all my children. We even got to take a tour of the fire station soon as we got off.

There was a lot to see and do here. Wished we had more time. We would definitely love to come back hey one day.

Ate at Route 66. Very fun, unique place. Ask about the history of you find in. Food was great!! A bit pricey though, just fyi.

We also heard about the land bridge to Bar Island. Great stop too!! Nice little hiking island. But don't get stuck when the tide...

This place is a must visit in Bar Harbor-the central place to hang out, play, and overall chill out in Downtown. There is a gazebo with bands playing seasonally, and there is many stores nearby. All Island Explorer buses start here, so is great way to get around the island quick. Information about Acadia National Park is across the street, and to the Shore Path is across the street too. However, the restrooms are not sanitary and need a good scrub. For this, I give the Village...

A little concert broke out as a young YouTube trained pianist and an 20 something impressed each other on the community piano. Take the bus from here to all over the island. ALWAYS TAKE THE BUS!!! do you love the sound of your straight piped Harley slowly, but noisily looking for a parking spot? Nobody else does. Do you like the frustration of having to stop for every single pedestrian in heavy traffic? I'm sure everyone in your vehicle can't wait to get out. Just...
