I want to start this by saying I gave this salon several chances, and I'm incredibly disappointed in the customer service here because there were a lot of things I liked about this salon. The nail techs who are good are amazing but they also have some people working there that aren't as skilled.
I get my nails done for sensory reasons. I only get gel polish manicures so it's a fairly simple service. I have had some bad experiences with the Dremel tool so I'm uneasy when it is used on me. You have to be incredibly skilled and precise to use it. Otherwise you can damage the nail by over thinning it.
The first issue was when I was getting a gel polish manicure and the woman doing my nails was a first grade teacher and this was just a summer job for her. She cut my nails too short but it wasn't a huge deal. My nails typically grow quickly. The second time I had an issue was when I was given a male tech who was a car salesman. He did not instill confidence in me and so I requested someone different. Tiffany seemed annoyed but accommodated my request. I started requesting specific nail techs to avoid this issue but was met with resistance. The last time I got my nails done here they put me with an older woman who had very long nails and shaky hands. I felt really uncomfortable and was stressed that they had told me one person would do my nails but instead placed me with yet another subpar tech. The only reason I can imagine for this is because I do not get an expensive or fancy service so maybe Tiffany didn't think it was worth the more experienced nail techs time. Tiffany came over to me and told me I needed to relax and calm down. She was patronizing and almost told me to leave but Geanie (I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right) offered to finish my nails. There is also a male tech who was amazing whose name was Ann ( also not sure I'm spelling that correctly)
Because it was the owner who treated me this way I haven't been back since. I would like to but I don't think I will be treated with dignity and it's not worth the stress. I'm so disappointed because the techs who are good are and amazing and they have OPI gel polishes which are my preference and not many salons have them. They are the only salon I've found in the area that properly removes the previous polish and preps the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of experiencing Tiffany's hard gel service, and I can confidently say it has transformed my nail game! As a chronic nail biter, I've struggled for years to grow my nails, but Tiffany's expertise has changed that for me. Her hard gel application not only provided a sturdy foundation for my nails but also encouraged them to grow longer and healthier than I ever thought possible.
Tiffany's professionalism is evident from the moment you step into her salon. She takes the time to understand your needs and preferences, ensuring that you receive a personalized experience tailored just for you. Her attention to detail is impeccable; she meticulously applies the hard gel, ensuring that each nail is perfect.
One of the best aspects of Tiffany's service is the durability of the hard gel. I have been returning every 3-4 weeks for maintenance, and I am thrilled to report that I have never experienced any chipping. It's amazing to have nails that look great and withstand daily wear and tear without any issues. The hard gel not only gives my nails a beautiful finish, but it also provides the strength I needed to stop biting!
Overall, I cannot recommend Tiffany enough. Her quality service, coupled with her attentive and professional demeanor, makes every visit a pleasure. If you're a nail biter looking to grow your nails or just someone in search of a reliable nail technician, look no further than Tiffany. She truly is the best in...
Read moreI was able to get my nails done on short notice. The person who did my manicure talked me into a color I really didn't want after I expressed the 2 colors I was considering, we went with something completely different. I got a basic gel manicure and she left color on my skin. Her conversation was actually very off putting and I felt bullied when sitting at her table. After 1 week the color was already peeling. I was only on vacation no hard work for my hands.
I also got a basic pedicure. The gal who did it was different. She was very polite. And the color dried quickly. However normally the color on my toes last more than a month. It's been 2 weeks and it's also chipping.
I needed an eyebrow wax. Another employee did this for me. The wax was great but after she started giving me a scalp massage and pressed extremely hard on my temples that I had a horrific headache the rest of the day. No one who's ever waxed me before has done this. It was not a normal experience.
As I went up to pay I noticed they had a sign to tip in cash. I was unaware of this before coming and I didn't have much. When I gave $15 in cash the one who did my manicure was insulted that I couldn't do more. Mind you this was still 18% tip of my total.
I will...
