Southgate Oriental Grocery is an absolute gem! This small, locally-owned Korean market has everything you need, and then some. The highlight for me has to be their amazing locally made kimchee—it’s so fresh, flavorful, and hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s worth the visit just for that!

The store may be small, but they have a surprisingly decent selection of Korean items, from pantry staples to snacks, sauces, and more. You can tell they take pride in curating high-quality products. The owners are incredibly friendly and always happy to help if you’re looking for something specific or need recommendations.

Tight aisles stocked with all things Korean. This tiny supermarket has everything someone may need to host a party or get last minute ingredients for that Korean dish you're putting together.

Albeit on the pricey side, this supermarket has not one, but two sections entirely devoted to Kimchi. They have a fresh self-serve side dish bar (pay by the pound), frozen section, veggie section, housewares section and dry grocery section.

The aisles are narrow, so moving around can be a challenge. This store is not wheelchair friendly.

Overall, if you are in a hurry and need that secret ingredient, a last minute side dish, or some snacks to go, this is your place.
