Brooks Park — Attraction in Bend

Brooks park is Amazing! It’s small but it’s location along the west banks of the centerpiece of Bend; Mirror Pond. This is a perfect place to enjoy lunch, sunbathe, or launch some personal watercraft to explore the river above the park. Immediately downriver from the park is a bridge and a spillway that splits the accessibility while on the water. AN UNDERUSED AND OVERLY FANTASTIC PLACE!!!...

BEND, what a lovely town. We visited to see one of our favorite artists play at the Tower Theater, what a joy it was. Has a little dock where you can put in your paddleboard/kayak what have you. Often lots and LOTSS of goose/duck poop. If you're brave with the poop ocean, you can float the river all the way down to here and not be getting out with the crowds at the other park. But be warned...
