My wife and I took a short overnight stay in Big Bear for her to see the area. I’ve been many times and this was her first. She loved the beauty of the area and we really enjoyed walking around the Village. It had be at least two decades since my last visit and much has changed without a doubt. Of course the surrounding countryside is beautiful and the Village keeps with the tradition of a small mountain village. Perhaps not small but traditional all the same. There are lots of restaurants and bars, and plenty of shops. We especially liked the wooden sculptures of the local fauna.
