My six-year-old daughter recently had a fantastic experience at Ritual Provisions Candle Bar at Mystic Moto in Big Bear Lake, and I wanted to share it with everyone! We participated in the custom candle-making session, and it was truly magical.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Molly was incredibly friendly and patient, especially with my daughter. Molly patiently explained each step of the candle-making process, keeping my daughter engaged and excited throughout.

My daughter absolutely loved choosing her own fragrance and picking out a special crystal to personalize her candle. She was so proud of her creation and couldn't wait to take it home. It was a wonderful way to spark her creativity and give her a unique souvenir from our trip.

My wife also had a great time crafting her own candle. The selection of fragrances was fantastic, and she enjoyed the relaxing and therapeutic nature of the activity. They both learned a lot about the art of candle-making and had a blast doing it.

Mystic Moto is such a cool spot. Great time for friends/ family/, or a couple for date night. Together, create an awesome candle from scratch at the candle bar. Pick the candle vessel, create a personalized scent, and what crystals to add to the candle. Was so fun! Sit right bar front, step by step, an amazing host helps you create a candle or two as a team. You name the candle and everything, haha! Really cool experience. Also, there's an amazing gift shop to browse before the creation, after and while you wait 20 minutes for the wax to settle. The host also gives conversational cards for each group. Jus a cute time killer. Cudos to the host! She was super patient, knew her stuff, greeted us, and thanked us for our time. My family and I came across this place on a quick search of what to do in Big Bear. Originally I was just going to take only my 17 yo daughter. Turns out even my boys were interested in making candles!! For context my boys are 15 & 12. Even my husband made a candle. Truth be told, when I saw this place I thought “girl time” I was wrong.
